True. 40w2d, I started having contractions at 34 weeks that basically didn't stop until she came. And even with all those contractions I still needed a c-section because I never progressed passed 2cm
39w6d. (She actually missed her due date by 2 hours and 23 minutes, LOL)
I was convinced she was going to be late. My bag wasn't totally packed, my house was kind of messy, and my water broke all over a day early. (I had an appointment on my due date and figured I'd go, not have had a baby, go get my nails and toes done, etc...yeah, not so much!)

39w6d. I had zero signs of progress at my 39w appointment, so I was bracing myself for another couple weeks of being pregnant. I was shocked to go into labor a few days later!

My doctor based my due date on my LMP, but I based my due date on conception. I was charting, so I knew when I got pregnant. My labor started because my water broke, so I think Nods must have just wanted to come out and broke it herself.

My daughter came on her due date. When I told the woman in admitting that it was my due date, she gave me an "oh, honey", kind of look. Little did she know that not only was I in labor, I was already 7cms dilated.
