Apparently no one in my house got the memo that 4:00AM is sleep time. Not time to be up for the day (DD), not time to start wrestling (dogs), not time to meow for food like we've starved you for a week (obviously cats), not time to talk to me about how tired I've seemed lately (WTF DH). SLEEP TIME.
I need to read "Go the F*ck to Sleep" to my entire house.
DD is WIDE awake after her MOTN feed! She's all smiling and looking at me... Go to sleep. Now!
Also, it was super warm today ( into the 80's!) and now it sounds like every bird in the state is sitting outside my window, chirping like crazy at 2:30am!
Lately I've been having dreams about states like yours. I scaled a little ice mountain today on the walking path at our complex. Why they decided it was an awesome idea to just skip plowing a random 1 foot stretch of the sidewalk, i don't know.
We had two (!!!) 2.5 hour naps yesterday and slightly over 3 hour MOTN stretches today. Haven't seen this since we brought our preemie home. New secret? Took her off the boob and put her back on the bottle for a few days to see if that makes her a happier baby. She was on the bottle back then too. My pump and I have made peace with each other and I don't despise pumping as much.
OMFG, wake up number 1 million.... I've seriously lost track. I think I've gotten about a half hour of sleep since she first woke up 5 hours ago. If this keeps up much longer I'm going to get in my car and drive far, far away.

Can we form a club and get jackets? VCB did his usual 4am wakeup. Putting the pacifier back in got him to chill out, but not really fall back asleep. Maybe if we let him work it out for twenty minutes, but we don't have that much patience at that time of the morning.
This is a week of this, so it's clearly the new normal. Any ideas on what to do? It's extra awful on weekdays b/c we normally wake up at 6am. If we could get him to fall right back asleep, we could get a good nap in. But usually it takes 30 minutes or more to make any progress, or he just won't go back to sleep. oy.
(he also woke back up when we went to bed at 10:30, but with enough comforting things were fine)
