MH's twin cousins are turning four in a couple weeks. Any idea what girls this age might like?
The party invite features the Disney princesses, so I guess that's their theme. Last birthday we got them sand buckets filled with beach toys and coloring books (they go to the shore a couple times a year and the family has an in-ground pool). For Christmas we got them toy dishes and toy utensils to use with their little kitchen set.
I'll ask MH to ask their mom for gift suggestions when he RSVPs, but I figured I'd ask here. Since we need to buy two gifts I think we'll be shooting for $50 total, max. Thanks for any ideas.
I agree, dress up clothes and art supplies. My niece especially loves stickers (foam stickers, sparkly stickers, etc) and anything she can glue (like pom poms) on paper to embellish it. She also loves invisible ink books (little coloring books with an invisible ink marker, you color over the different patterns and get different colors...I buy them at the local toy store).
Disney stores are having an additional 25% off on store an online for some items. It ends today. I think even a few costumes are included. My daughter will be 4 in a month. She loves dressing up and accessories.
Anything pink and sparkly in any form. I like art supplies because they are consumed and don't clutter my house in the long term. Clothes can be good too. Or princess books.
If you're buying princess dolls, the ones from the Disney store are MUCH better than the ones at Target and are about the same price.
You could also give them a trip to a Build-A-Bear store and let them make their own bears. That way it would be an activity with them as well as getting a toy. Make an afternoon of it and their parents may love you forever.
