Congrats, she's beautiful! FWIW, my SO had club feet as a kid, which I never knew about and found out when he mentioned it during the anatomy scan the other day when they were checking baby's feet. He had braces for a while but you'd never know there was ever an issue.
Goodness! I'm so sorry about your lows, but I'm glad you've got your sweet baby girl, and that she's healthy. I'm glad you've got a plan for her feet, and that after the treatment is over, it will just be a memory. Best of luck!
Congrats, she is so beautiful!! I'm sorry about your lows, and hope the one won't be an issue after treatments. For the other..you don't need that drama right now, only surround yourself with people during this emotional time who will help you.
What a story!! She is so adorable! I love her name! Sorry about your family drama. You need to be happy with your little girl, so it was probably for the best.

Congrats! She's precious and I love her name.
Sorry about your lows, but from what I've read, it overwhelmingly seems treatable and babies go on to lead totally normal lives. I'm sure it's emotional but everything will work out!
Missy, my eyes got wide at the picture of your little girl; she is seriously the cutest little lovebug ever. I love all her hair and her sweet little lips. I'm sorry you've had a tough time post-birth and I hope treatments for your baby go well. Big hugs. And adios, drama!
Your baby is beautiful. Thanks for updating. I am so sorry about your you know who. Mine is the same way which is why I am 10 wks pregnant and she doesn't even know yet.

Congrats, she is gorgeous. I was getting worried about you too. So glad baby is healthy and your labour was not too bad at all. Sorry for your lows. Ditto everyone else, you don't need the stress now.
Congrats on a fast induction experience! She is gorgeous. I'm sorry about her medical problems. My mom had two club feet when she was born and I never knew until she told me, and that was over 50 years ago, I'm sure the medical advances since then will get her fixed up in no time! Stay strong and enjoy her!
Sorry your mom is acting like a B. I have a feeling this is how my mom will be too. She is very opinionated when it comes to me and my sister having babies. I've already seen how she was with my sister, so I'm totally looking forward to it... not!
Also sorry about your baby's feet, but it sounds like you have great doctors taking care of things.
Oh my, she is absolutely GORGEOUS!! I'm sorry things haven't been pure bliss since she arrived, but try not to worry. I have a friend who had the same issue with her daughter . I know it was tough on her emotionally, but her daughter responded WONDERFULLY and is a happy and playful toddler now.(I'm being vague on purpose, but if you still want me to DD, just let me know.)
And good for you for removing toxic elements. I'm sure that wasn't easy to do, but it just shows that you're strong enough to do what has to be done for the benefit of your family. You're already an amazing mom. Keep up the great work!
I can relate on the mom thing. My mom basically told me I was a B for not "letting" DH go home at night when I was in the hospital and why would he want to stay there with me. I finally told her she was being a B and she hasn't been as bad. Try not to let that stuff stress you out too much.

Congratulations! She's adorable and I'm glad everyone is healthy. I had casts on both of my legs as well as a kid. I turned out just fine, and definitely don't remember it! I've been running around to doctors as well, and know how much it sucks. But it will get better. Try to enjoy your little girl as much as possible!
Look at the gorgeous little face! Congratulations.
NPR did a segment on clubfeet and ponseti method just a couple of weeks ago. I found it so heartwarming that I went to work and looked it up. They even had a before & after picture, and there is no way you can tell that the child had club feet if the before picture was not there. I am not going to link the story, but you can google "npr clubfoot" if you would like to read it.
Missy1, that is one gorgeous little girl. Keep riding those highs and the lows will soon be a distant memory. You are doing the right things across the board - you're a great mom already!
I also really have to know where you got the adorable blanket and headband! DD needs some.
congrats - she is gorgeous! i'm sorry you are having a rough time now but hope that things turn around soon and that you can enjoy your new family of three!
Congratulations!! Beautiful, beautiful baby! That's amazing that the Dr. said, he/she'd be back around 4 to catch your baby and that's right when you had her! It sounds like you guys are doing all the right things now. Hang in there, and as others have said, post and vent here all you want.

I'd also like to know where you found that blanket. It's almost as beautiful as your daughter
Congratulations on her arrival. I hope as things calm down and the stressful individuals step away you'll feel good and get to relax and enjoy. Congratulations again, and good for you for speaking up.
chicago and JayhawkGirl the swaddle blanket is from SwaddleDesigns online and the bow is from etsy store thatuniquebowtique (came with a matching cheesecloth).
