2. My mom took me maternity clothes shopping yesterday! It was actually pretty fun. We found this cute local boutique with the sweetest and most attentive staff. They said ridiculous stuff like "I love working with you because you're built like a model!" Only at a maternity store LOL. I got some summery stuff, but I think I'll be able to wear it in a few weeks with a sweater.
3. My doctor's office is pretty ultrasound-happy to begin with (I've already had three), so I don't think I will need any more. I have an appointment tomorrow and there's no u/s scheduled, but there's an ultrasound machine in every exam room and I wouldn't be surprised if the doctor pulled out the probe "just for fun."
4. We watched a little bit. The snowboard cross was really fun to watch!
2. Not much- just moving along and feeling bigger! I went through all my clothes yesterday, sorted and hung up maternity stash, boxed up clothes I won't need for a while, etc. Feels so much better!
3. I am not planning on any elective ultrasounds. I have already had three as standard procedure at my OB practice.
4. I watched some Olympics but my DH LOVES the Olympics and would tape/watch every day.
1. 37 w 3 d 2. I could whine for days. I am finally at that point where I am uncomfortable, all the time. I am over my swollen feet and hands. I do enjoy the constant baby movement 3. We did a full 3d/4d at 30 weeks. He looked like such a little man 4. We watched bits and pieces. Mostly hockey, skiing, and snowboarding.

1. How far along are you this week? 40 weeks today
2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? Ungrateful vent - my aunt has come to help with the baby but she is already driving me crazy. She won't believe that 75% of babies come after the due date and that it is perfectly normal that my baby isn't here yet. She is constantly trying to see if I have dropped and generally stressing me out. She is on the phone to relatives and her friends non-stop saying how my baby is too comfy and doesn't want to come out. DH gave me a lecture before he went to work today to ignore her and enjoy my final days without a newborn. I know I will be so glad she is here once the baby is born but Christ on a cracker, she is driving me up the wall right now.
3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? We did one when the 20w us couldn't tell us the sex of the baby. It wasn't 3d or anything, just a regular us. Waste of money too as baby still had its legs closed
4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? Watched a ton as I was on materity leave last week. Figure skating was my favourite. The Gold medal hockey game was fun yesterday.
1. How far along are you this week? 10 weeks (double digits! Yay!)
2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? I have not puked in a week! Although I did feel like I was dying this weekend from the nausea, but I will take it. And my maternity excemption card arrived today. That means I won't pay for any medicines or dentist charges until my baby is 1 years old. Yay.
3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? I had one at 6w because of bleeding. I have my NT scan at 12 weeks (11 March) and I will have one at around 20 weeks. I might get an extra growth scan near the end of my pregnancy due to my problems that make me high risk. It happened in my pregnancy with my son because of my blood pressure. But, it is not guaranteed. The NHS only usually gives you 2 scan. The 12 week dating/NT scan and the 20 week scan.
4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? I tried to watch the closing ceremony because the beginning was beautiful. My 6 year old was not having any of that. His mother watch TV, how outrageous! So he decided to put on a show for us in front of the TV.
1. How far along are you this week? I'll be 21w on Wednesday.
2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? The baby kept me semi-awake all night with the constant kicking/punching. I might need to change when I take my prenatal - mine may contain speed. Other than that, this should be an eventful week for us. We'll find out the sex on Wednesday and then begin our registry this weekend.
3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? Nope. I've had so many that I've lost count (yet, only one would attempt to tell us the sex, and she hedged her bets on it).
4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? We didn't watch much of it, but I kept up via the news. We did watch the ice dancing finals and the woman's skeleton. I think the silver medal win in that was my favorite moment.
1. How far along are you this week? 19 wk 3d 2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? we started shopping for cribs this weekend. Found two we like at BRU, but I want to see what a real furniture store has. Also while shopping for cribs we played around with strollers. It was nice to actually get hands on with them. Some reviews just do not do products justice. I'm pretty sure I will register for the Britax travel system. 3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? No 4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? i did not watch it all but caught glimpses of the ice skating, which I love.
1. 24 weeks! 2. It's starting to hit me that we are really going to have a baby in a few months and I feel like there is so much I want to/need to do. It's a little overwhelming. On the other hand we've reached viability and my birthday is tomorrow! 3. Probably not. We are going to have at least one more around 30 weeks due to low lying placenta so we will get to see him again. 4. Yes we watched them all. The ice dancers winning gold. They were awesome.

1. How far along are you this week? 14 weeks on Thursday
2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? Over the weekend we had lunch with some neighbor friends, who have a one year, and are passing along a lot of things they don't need anymore. (Yay free stuff!) And I have a dr. appointment this afternoon. And the room that is becoming the nursery is slowly but sure getting emptied out.
3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? Nothing elective, but my doc requires a bunch
4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? Nope, not at all.
1. How far along are you this week? 38 weeks 2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? Finally got our car seat installed by our local fire dept. They were very nice about it. It fits in the center seat which is great for legroom. 3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? didn't do any electives 4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? We watched quite a bit. Enjoyed the ice skating and ice dancing.
1. How far along are you this week? 36 weeks, 2 days 2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? AW: I had my second (and last) shower, which was a lot of fun. The problem is going to be finding room in our house for all this stuff, but that's definitely a FWP! Sadly though, baby dropped this weekend and promptly shut up my comments about appreciating not having pains. OMG the pressure is insane. 3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? No, I had to have extra ones due to potential problems with baby's kidneys though. It's always nice to see him! 4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? I didn't watch very much, but did watch the US-Russia hockey game which was really exciting. I told H that if hockey were usually that interesting, I would watch more!
1. 17w3d 2. We find out the sex a week from today! 3. No electives. My practice already routinely does three, and I opted for the NT scan, so that makes four. I think that's enough! 4. I watched very little Olympics. Every time I turned it on it was skiing, which doesn't excite me. I watched the opening ceremony though. I did catch bobsled, which I like.
1. How far along are you this week? 18 weeks 5 days
2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? I am on pins and needles for the anatomy scan tomorrow. Also, I am really sure I felt the baby move this week!
3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? We did the NT scan; I think that was elective. Is the anatomy scan elective? The doctor just scheduled that.
4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? I liked watching the little Russian ice skater spin around with one leg up by her ear.
@gravytrain25, pretty exciting! I hope everything goes perfectly!!!
1. How far along are you this week? 20w6d 2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? The walls of the nursery are painted, next weekend I'll start working on the stencil. I guess I should order the crib and dresser soon. We're going to a consignment sale Wed. night so maybe we'll find something good. I kinda don't want to go because my sister said she has some stuff for me and I don't want to buy anything that she already has, but I guess it can't hurt to check it out. 3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? I just scheduled a 3D for early May. I didn't want to spend the money but SO was pretty insistent that we needed to do it. My parents will come and watch so that will be fun. 4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? I usually don't watch winter Olympics but I did see some of the slopestyle, alpine skiing, and bobsled. Slopestyle was cool to watch.

1. How far along are you this week? 7 weeks today. 2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? I am so over MS already. And I don't even have that bad! I feel spoiled by my first pregnancy now. 3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? Probably not, unless baby is crossing its legs at our anatomy scan. I find the 3D scans kind of creepy looking. 4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? Never had much interest in the Winter Olympics, which is weird since I obsess over the Summer Games.
2. Baby was moving its arms and legs like crazy at the u/s last Friday. We opted for the Panorama test (including finding out the sex!) so we're anxiously awaiting those results.
3. I'm 10w and have already had 5 u/s (weekly since 6w, thanks to my awesome RE and OB), so I think we're good.
I'm sorry changedname. That sounds really frustrating. I feel like I need to tell people that my due date is a week later just to keep them off my back! At least I won't be at work on my due date, so I'll "just" have to fend off family and friends.

1. How far along are you this week? 23 weeks tomorrow. 2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? We registered over the weekend, but I found it kind of pointless to go look at stuff in person since I already spent a ton of time writing down what we needed and then I picked my favorites based on reviews. And the stores had very little of what I had picked out online, which was irritating. I did have a routine appointment today and everything was great again; measured at 23 weeks, heart rate of 150. The doctor I saw today was suuuuper chill lol. The appointment took all of 20 minutes. My next one is the GD test and I get another Rhogam shot 3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? No. Our practice just does the 20 week scan in normal circumstances, although I had one at 6 weeks because of spotting. 4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? We did watch a lot; I loved the US vs. Russia hockey game, seeing the US ice dancers take the gold, and watching the US lady who won silver in women's skeleton.
1. How far along are you this week? 2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? 3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? 4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment?
1: 12 weeks
2: I just told my work today over email. Dammit I get so nervous telling people!
3: No - last pg I had 4 (8 week, NT Scan, 20 week, and 3rd tri growth) and if there are issues there could be more so I don't wanna over do it.
4: Just little bits. It's sorta either boring or sad to me if someone gets hurt.
1. How far along are you this week? 34w 2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? Last week my OB said he wouldn't stop labor if it happens starting wednesday. Makes things seem so much more real around here. 3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? We did an elective 3/4D around 30w. It was amazing how much it helped DH bond with this LO. We didn't get the best of pictures but it was still really cool! 4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? I watched a lot of it. I love watching the skiing events, freestyle and downhill.
1. How far along are you this week? 17w4d 2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? I survived taking the 3 hour glucose test on Saturday, now I just wait for the results. The ladies at the lab confirmed my feelings that my doctor's office making me take the test so early was ridiculous. So glad I switched offices! Other than that, I had a pre-natal massage yesterday and it was amazing! I've also really been enjoying some extra energy lately. 3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? I don't think so. The 3-D and 4-D ultrasounds have honestly always freaked me out a little. We will have our 20 week anatomy scan at my next appointment, and I think that will be good. There are so many other places we can spend the money an elective U/S will cost. 4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? We watched off and on, mostly as background noise in the evenings. I think my favorite moments are always when they show the parents in the audience when their kid wins. It's such an awesome show of emotion. I also love the camaraderie between the athletes. I think it's cool to see people come together like that.

1. How far along are you this week? 9w tomorrow
2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? I'm feeling a bit less worried.all.the.time than I was a few weeks ago. But now, I'm worried about genetic abnormalities. I guess there is always something to worry about.
3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? We are considering whether to do any kind of genetic screening, which I believe comes with an u/s. Other than that, no plans to do a 3D or anything.
4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? Mao Asada's amazing comeback free skate. Also, Carolina Kustner's free skate.

1. How far along are you this week? 15w2d 2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? Nothing really, but I am feeling the second tri energy pick up a bit, which is nice. 3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? Probably not, but I may change my mind. 4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? I didn't watch any Olympics this year.
1. How far along are you this week? 31.5 weeks--scary!
2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? Our nursery furniture is being delivered this week! I am nesting nesting nesting all over the house, so this makes me very happy.
3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? We did a 3d u/s at 28 weeks--I really like the pictures.
4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? Yup. We're not sports people, but we do love all the random sports in the Olympics. Figure skating is my favorite by far, but we go through and watch part of the primetime coverage each night.

1. 14 weeks 2. Nothing really. I can feel my uterus now, definetely firm below my layer of fat. SO was gone for a week and came home last night, he immediately said something how my stomach was different. 3. I don't know. I want to find out the sex without waiting till the a/s in 6 weeks. If I can convince him we'll probably do it this weekend. 4. Watched bits and pieces, really like snowboarding, figure skating and oddly biatholon.
1. How far along are you this week? 13w3d 2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? Hoping the maternity shirts I bought from H&M show up this week. We're also trying to make some pretty big life decisions in terms of immigration and where to settle after baby. 3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? Nope. Don't even know where I'd find them here. 4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? We watched a lot as the time zone was more convenient, but are super competitive so watched on different devices. Canada did amazingly well, and I enjoyed every moment. My favourite sports to watch were the mogul freestyle, figure skating and ice dancing, and I loved the slopestyle this year. The women's hockey was great, too, though I'm not usually all that keen on hockey.
1. How far along are you this week? 25 weeks, 4 days
2. Any randoms, vents, AWs this week? When I wear my coat unbuttoned, I get seats on the train. Woo hoo!
3. Are you going to do any elective ultrasounds? I had a ton of ultrasounds in the beginning with the RE and then I had two anatomy scans with my OBGYN, so I'm fine with no more extra peeks at the babe.
4. The Olympics are over! Did you watch at all? What was your favorite moment? We watched the Olympics almost every night. I watched everything -- skeleton, slalom, skating, etc. My favorite moment was Mao Asada's comeback the second night. Sap alert: I cried like a baby at the end.

1. 22 weeks 2. My ankles randomly started swelling this weekend toward the end of the day, so I'm increasing my already ridiculous water intake, lol. Finally feeling her moving on a pretty regular basis, which is pretty dang cool. I think I'm starting to nest, because the house is driving me nuts - all I can see is stuff that we need to take care of before baby gets here, and most of it is not stuff I can do myself. I feel kind of helpless, because I feel great, but know I shouldn't be lifting, joving furniture, etc. - all things I normally wouldn't even bat an eyelash at. 3. No elective u/s, since between my OB and MFM I've been having them every couple of months. 4. Watched the tiniest bit of snowboarding, just because it was on, but otherwise nada.
