"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
Lauren Graham is nine years older than me. Hope my skin looks that good in nine years.
Ed's a dick.
And marriage shouldn't be black and white for everyone. I feel like there definitely needs to be a shades of gray approach to the topic. The failure rate is so high because marriage as it's currently envisioned does not work for a lot people.
Also I wonder what happens next week. I hope they get back together. Also, I hope it doesn't go:
Joel: okay let's give it another shot, we have to be honest even if you think it's nothing. Julia: you're right... I had dinner with Ed. Joel: you cheating bitch, I'm divorcing you.

I actually believe Joel was right about Julia's giving in to Sydney. Sydney has always been a souled breast, and she's mad at her dad for moving out, and Julia just have in one again and undercut Joel.
BTW, where was Victor?
But Julia going over to see Ed? Crazy stupid. Forget going inside; she should never have shown up on his doorstep.
Maybe it's me, but I don't get why Kristina and Adam are so crazy about the new teacher. He has one decent idea, which he implemented horribly, didn't communicate with the parents until they shouted yo in his classroom, and just seems smug all around. They meet him once and are willing to trust him with their dream of a better school. I get that they were on a high and feeling like they cheated death, but it was so ridiculously impulsive.

I can't believe Julia went in to Ed's at the end! WTF is she thinking. She was totally out of line with her tirade blaming him for her failing marriage, and it is great that she apologized (though probably should not have been done in person, at his house, at night, given the background of the situation)...but let's not take it back to the extreme in the other direction! Geeez. And I still can't get over what is, in my opinion, a gross overreaction by Joel through this whole thing.
Both have issues. I can't wait to see what happens next, this storyline has really sucked me in this season.
