I am holding a penny that is 114 years old and I'm dyyyying to know the history of its travels up until it wound up in a suitcase for half a century....
Which cake are you making?? We have the same theme!
Except ours is going to be orange like the cars on the invitations!
I fucking love you. Did you use the cake pan Wilton sells for this? I've been sitting here trying to figure out if I am capable of carving a cake into a car shape when all along there is a cake pan that can do this for me.
We got H a smoker for his first father's day, and it's the best gift ever. We almost never grill anymore, and he's working ways to cold smoke cheeses and stuff too. Holy shit, I love that thing.
They are awesome. So much better than a bbq.
My H bought a Green Egg a year ago, and holy shit. Ah-mah-zing! I'm ready for him to get rid of the grill, he hasn't used it at all since.

I absolutely did! And you can learn from my mistakes so yours doesn't overflow and fill the house with smoke! I'll be decorating it today and I'll post pics so you can see
Speaking (loosely) about BBQ grills, FIL randomly bought DH a grill from a website called Summit Racing. FIL is into racing (RC cars at least, not necessarily Nascar), but DH definitely isn't. Also, we have a pretty kick-ass grill that we bought about 3 years ago. So, DH put this thing together in the living room when it got here, even though we were seriously side-eyeing it, especially after DH looked it up online and saw the price. So now we have this $700.00 monstrosity in our living room:
Yep, that's a BBQ grill. In our living room.
ETA: And, yes, it is to scale. For those who aren't sure what that is supposed to be, it's supposed to be a car engine on an engine stand. Life-sized.
