I think I need this stuff.
One of my weird postpartum things with both kids has been terribly cracked, rough feet. I actually had a throw rug get stuck to me like Velcro a couple of weeks ago.
I bought this a few weeks ago but am afraid to use it! I run about 3-4 days a week...do you think it would interfere? Like, is the new skin sensitive? Am I going to be at the gym trailing giant peels of skin, like toilet paper stuck to my shoe??
Oooh, you're doing that? I read about it a few months ago and was intrigued! You'll have to tell us more in, like, a month from now...if your tootsies are still baby soft.
I've done it twice so far and have had no blistering. It was a little shocking at first to step into a cold floor once all the skin had peeled off, but there was no real sensitivity. If you're thinking about doing it, go for the real baby foot peel from amazon. It usually costs about $25, but is sometimes $19.99. I tried an imposter shortly after I did my first peel thinking that it would just be a less effective baby peel, but it completely jacked my feet up. I ended up having to do another baby foot anyway, so just wasted the $10 I spent on the imposter.
My feet are peeling. I didn't think about how utterly gross this was going to be. I'm having to wear socks all the time today. I feel like chelle's husband Skinflake. Ew. How long does it take to peel completely, @cse1960??
Yeah I didn't account for he wearing socks all the time. And I almost puked everytime I took the socks off
Don't your feet develop blisters after all the skin is gone?
This is my worry too. My feet are pretty blister-prone anyway ... But they're also scaly on the heels.
No blisters! It's totally worth it.
My heals are still a little rough, but a million times better. I only peeled for about 3 days. I would soak my feet and peel that way so more would come off, and then the last two days I soaked and the scrubed with a wash cloth. No blisters at all.

I used it but it did nothing on my heels. Everywhere else was great. I am going to do it again, but do more prep (use the exfoliating file for about a week leading up to make the skin on my heels as thin as possible).
@bigtowlittletoe Can you wear dress socks with your heels? You can do everything normal except go barefoot, because of all the peeling and it will peel some on top of the foot.
elleblue I started, I think, 4 days after I soaked.
My feet are NOT that yellow in person, the flash of the old ass iphone + crappy lighting made it super duper yellow. I have super rough heels, so it doesn't look like much but it took off some hard calluses but I need to do it again to get rid of the really tough stuff.
