I used two vanilla Betty Crocker mixes with two vanilla puddings added because you need a denser cake than you would normally, and when they say use six cups of batter, use six cups. I put two whole mixes in mine and it overflowed and filled my house with smoke. Cool the cake overnight in the pan, and pop in out the next morning and stick it in the freezer, and chill your frosting. It's easier to work with when everything is cold.
