Congratulations!! And welcome! Try not to be nervous but I know it's easier said than done. I felt the same up until I entered my second trimester due to family history.
ETA: When I shared my concerns with my doctor after my first appointment she told me any pregnancy symptom I had was a good sign. So although I had nausea, vomiting, headaches and food aversions in the first trimester. I learned to be "happy" about the symptoms since I felt it meant all was well with the pregnancy.
Thank you everyone for the welcome. It looks like I spoke too soon as I started bleeding last night. I am going to the MD this afternoon for a blood draw but it doesn't look good.
I'm sorry to see your update. Bleeding in pregnancy is always a cause for concern, but doesn't always have to mean the worst. In this current pregnancy I bled, often heavily and red, from weeks 5-10 and everything still looks good at 15 weeks. I also had no bleeding when I had an ectopic pregnancy, go figure. Sending you good thoughts and lots of hugs!

FX for you. Add me to the list of heavy bleeding in first tri (coupled with fading and negative tests -see earlier response in this post), and all is well now at 24+2.
Hopefully all will be fine. I got my BFP the morning of 11 January. That night I started bleeding bright red blood with clots and I was cramping. I was convinced it was over, but I am still here.
Had my appt and did the first blood draw but won't really know anything until the next draw to see if my levels go up or down. I don't have high expectations though.
