I have a hair appointment today and was just going to get what I usually get, a trim and ombre coloring. I've only had ombre done twice but it was the first time I had ever had any coloring done ever. So color in general is still a new fun thing for me.
Should I do ombre again? I really like it but idk if it's too played out? Do/should I care? Lol. I don't want to do anything that requires taking care of roots. I don't hate my natural hair color or anything.
I was also thinking about chopping it to like an inch or two below my shoulders. The wedding is in August and I'm just planning on a low side bun type thing so I think it would be plenty of length and would grow out by then anyway.
What say the ladies here?
I'm sure the picture is huge, sorry, still trying to figure out how to resize in the photobucket app.
Why not just cut it an inch or two. Nothing more just ask some of the ladies here about their recent hair disasters by chopping it off. I would just let the ombre grow out. Your natural color is very pretty.
I agree with all of this. I wouldn't do anything too drastic since your wedding is this year - you'd hate for something to go wrong!
I suppose. I mean, I've never been one to get too upset about losing several inches, my hair grows pretty fast. It's been this long for so long, I'm was just contemplating something different I guess.
I would take maybe 3-5 inches off, and i think you would look really pretty with some red or auburny (?) highlights. I will say i don't love my hair now, I chopped it to just above my shoulders when it was almost to my waist and its a lot harder for me to style now. But i donated it to locks of love so i don't regret it to much. *shrugs*
I think that would be a great length. A couple of inches below the collar bone would give you a decent amount of length off without completely sacrificing your style overall.

If anything, adding some longer layers for a little more volume and shape could be good. I like the ombre on you since it really brightens up your color and gives dimension. I really like what you have going though. BTW, I have family where you are planning the wedding and can ask them about salons and makeup if you still aren't finding anything. They have lived there for years.
I usually have layers put in. It's been like 5-6 months since I've been in, whoops! I'm excited for a spruce up no matter what I decide to get done! lol
FormerCityGirl, I'm pretty sure I have that Jessica Biel picture pinned
I almost posted this one. Apparently, we are on the same page when it comes to hair. I love having a good amount of length and being able to wear it straight or wavy.

I like the ombre on you as well! Maybe just get a trim and some more layers! Wait till after the wedding before doing anything drastic to you will still be happy with your pics on wedding day
Your hair is beautiful! I agree some layers for some texture would be great! I'm getting married in 8 weeks and am getting my ombre toned down in a couple of weeks b/c in my engagement pictures the ombre showed up really drastic and I realized i wanted something more neutral for the wedding. So I'm having him blend it a little and highlights towards the top so it's not as much of an obvious "ombre" look. I like the color your have now... maybe some highlights if you decide to do away with the ombre.
