Yes, although I didn't use it much. We had about 6 carriers at the time. In 2010, it was one of the few out facing carriers. We needed it for Mom & Me aerobics, but she wound up sleeping in her stroller most of class.
I also have a Moby Wrap and Ergo. The Bjorn is still the one I like the best.
I struggle getting the Ergo on by myself. No matter how many times I follow the Moby Wrap videos, I feel like my kid is either .2 seconds away from falling out on the floor, or is smooshed in there like a sausage. #babywearingfailure
The bassinet ones are allowed in Canada.  They sell them at Sears too and I've seen them at Winners
good to know! I hadn't seen the bassinet version before (granted I never looked for one) and I didn't realize it was different until someone posted about their rnp and mentioned the incline then I started googling images. I just saw "Rock'n'Play" while standing in the checkout line and was all "MMM promises me sleep with this piece of magic. I must have it." so far it's worked :-)

Travel systems!
All my friends that have them now are like "well I wish we knew you back when we were registering!" and I was like "hey guys. google is a wonderful thing!"

I am always floored by how some people just don't research the things they pick, even though they'll use them every day. It's foreign to me, as someone who is a researcher to a fault.
Fancy bedding sets for the crib. (You aren't supposed to use blankets or bumpers, so what is the point?" Fancy bouncers/swings/pack and plays... The normal stuff seems to look just as well and half the time babies don't like those items anyway. Summer time infant swaddle sacks... They seemed to run super small, didn't wash well, and never stayed closed. Halo swaddle sacks were awesome though.
We were a newborn in convertible family. We never missed not having an infant carrier. A lot of people get it, I think, cause that's just what people do, but it's not always necessary based on your own lifestyle.
I'd also caution people on buying strollers so early, as in pre-baby arrival.
Beaba food systems, I was really interested in this pre-baby and then never received one and then we ended blw instead and well, in the end, a good food processor and/or blender or a stick blender would do the same thing.
Wipe warmers. Worthless.
Hooded towels, we never used the ones we had.
I'm with you on all of these except hooded towels. Because DD looked freaking ADORABLE in her elephant hooded towel. I was sad when she outgrew it.
Because Canada likes to ban everything invented for babies
Eta: I believe this was due to the potential mould issues but can't find a definite site. Crib tents are banned due to potential strangling of toddlers. The bumbo was banned for awhile but now that they have seat belts they seem to be back. I think all 3 happened in 2013.So maybe we'll see other products again.
I think they just haven't been approved. Canada has more stringent standards for anything sold as a sleeping container. ARC are also "illegal" but I had one. It was awesome.
I bought an ARC used from one of the midwives in my practice and just discovered that they are technically illegal here...oops! We set it up this weekend and discovered that our bed is too tall and we need to buy the leg extensions. Do you know of anywhere where I can buy these. It says on the website that they won't ship to Canada.

Weissbluth. That asshole. (I know extinction cio works for some, but I think his book is alarmist claptrap.)
Word.
The more-expensive Pack 'n Plays that come with all the accessories (e.g. "changing table" or whatever). We never used any of ours. Even the built-in bassinet, which originally seemed awesome, ended up useless -- DD had a strong startle reflex, and she found the fact that the bassinet moved (it's not moored to the bottom of the PNP but hangs from the top) terrifying. We did get lots of use out of the basic PNP as a travel crib.
Bibs for older kids, including the ones that are designed to catch food in the bottom (Baby Bjorn makes them). I thought they were the best idea ever in the store, but DD would not wear one for more than about 10 seconds.
Aden and Anais swaddle blankets. I know that's an unpopular opinion, but the only thing that could contain DD was the Miracle Blanket. For basic things like covering car seats or whatever, cheaper blankets work just as well.
We used the Bjorn for a month and that was fine, but it was a gift, I wouldn't buy one myself. I'm also kind of meh on the Ergo. That may be child specific.
Maybe because DS grew so fast but our bucket seat was only used for three months, that's not a lot of use for almost $300 (seat plus two adapters). I'm not sure what we will do if we have DC2? Hope for a non-giant?
The Bumbo was hilarious. As soon as he had neck control enough for it his chubby thighs made him one with the seat.
I'm beginning to think this is all because of my child, disregard my preferences.
JJ Cole Bundle me and heavy snow suits in carseats.
Is the bundle me the one that goes over the stroller? Cause I loved that thing. If it IS the stroller one, please tell me why you wouldn't recommend it. I still have ours saved for LO #2.
So many of these are baby specific. What one kid/mom hates another loves.
I agree with the PnP...we just got one with a changer/mobile. The mobile has given me a few mins of distraction to make the bed, but we never used the changer, we just bring him into the nursery.
DS loves his sleep sack but hates his swaddles!
Also baby socks are necessary in freezing cold NJ - the basic white ones from Old Navy have worked the best they stay on really well.

It can be put in a stroller or an infant car seat. I assume halfpint is referring to putting it in the car seat.

This was me. I'm a big researcher too, but when it came to strollers, I just skipped out. We were recommended to get a BJ City Select, so we got one as a gift. It's perfectly fine as long as we just use it for walks at home, but I'm never carrying that thing anywhere. I did research almost everything else and was happy with my choices.
