I am SO HAPPY it's Friday. It's been such a bitch of a week. I can't even anymore.
I managed to beg for a ticket to a forum here tonight about West Wing, and Bradley Whitford and Janel Moloney are going to be here - Josh and Donna 4eva! heh. I'm so, so excited. They actually asked if I wanted to go to the reception after, but I didn't want to push my luck. Plus, I knew I'd either spend all of my time avoiding them so I didn't make an ass of myself, or talking with them and saying something ridiculous that would have me retroactively embarrassed for months, heh.
No other plans for the weekend, really. Still unpacking and organizing. I think we may go to the movies on Sunday - I really want to see Grand Budapest Hotel, and we haven't had a "normal" weekend in forever. We'll see how motivated we are, though, because I fly to Denver on Monday morning at like 7 am.
I'm frantically trying to get a shitton of freelancing done, as well as my sock for my competition, and possibly interviewing for a job. Me, overwhelmed??? No way, LOL!
DH leaves tonight for an event. He'll be home tomorrow night. I feel like I should escape on Sunday and be alone for a while. it's going to be a long weekend.
Oh no, is it really supposed to rain both days? We were hoping to move some stuff out of our basement into our garage. Not going to happen if it's wet outside.
That was my big plan for the weekend. Otherwise, grocery shopping and cleaning the house.

Lots of work, but only 3 Saturdays left including this one.
Saturday night I'm going to my friend's for her birthday. Sunday I'm supposed to go running with 2 friends, could be interesting in the rain. Sunday night dinner at my dad's house. I cannot wait for 2 day weekends.
I am having a fantastic Friday. I officially accepted my events job yesterday, but my internal transfer date isn't until April 16 so I am just relaxing at my desk. Like feet up have nothing to do relaxed. I might take a lunch. I might leave at 4:30.
We are going to dinner on moody to celebrate tonight. Tomorrow I am getting my hair done. I am getting a dark ombré, it's the first time I have ever colored my hair and I am both excited and nervous. Sunday my only plan is a Pilates class.
It is DH's birthday. This is my break in between cooking and cleaning. We are having about 12-15 people over this evening for dinner and cake. On Sunday, we will be at the parents for DH's and my nephew's birthdays. I hope we get sun on Saturday so I can start to clean up my yard. All the wind on Saturday has damaged our bushes and trees.
I am flying back out to California for another wedding. I think I caught a bug on the airplane back from LA, so I am not looking forward to another trip. I feel so rundown. I just want to sleep!

Tomorrow there's some event at the anthropologie in harvard sq that's hosted by whole foods. I believe there will be ice cream so we're taking the kids. And I can shop
Maybe it is a good thing it will rain this weekend. We just returned from Ft Lauderdale very late Wednesday night, and out house is a mess. If it was going to be nice this weekend, I might be tempted not to clean.
I also need to go shopping for a dress for my BIL's wedding that is in two weeks. I have no idea what i am going to get, every dress seems to be sleeveless and my arms are ugly.
Today was my day off from work. I just got home... from work. So, yeah, weekend is not off to a great start. I'm just hoping I don't have to go in Sat or Sun.
I should probably do taxes this weekend... We were planning to head up to North Conway for skiing this weekend, but hadn't made concrete plans. DH is working late tonight too, so that plan is pretty much nixed now. Oh well.
I'm so happy it is he weekend! Last week was exhausting and I finally slept well and feel better today. Last week was my new hire orientation for my new job. They carted us all 4 hours away for an intensive full immersion orientation. It was fun, although also super exhausting as we had events all day long and social stuff every night. With about 40 people we've never met before, so it was mentally and physically exhausting. I am SO happy to be home. And I'll agree that I'm kind of happy it is a crappy weekend so I don't feel bad doing nothing.
Last night we finished season 3 of Game of Thrones. What a great show! The red wedding was awesome.
No real plans this weekend other than laundry, grocery shopping and plenty of sleep. Next week I actually start my job, which I'm still really anxious about, so I'm trying not to think too much about it. I had lunch with a coworker of Friday and the good news is I can come in at 9 am (good for commute and sleep!). Bad news is he regularly works 9 am to 8 pm. he told me not to do that though and I don't plan to.
We are in Freeport, ME for the weekend. Much needed break from the chaos of our lives lately. I got awesome riding boots at the LL Bean outlet. Regularly $210, marked down to $165. DH convinced me to get them, and the cashier noticed they should have been marked down further but were somehow missed. They were $73! Love. Now wears having a little siesta and then going to see Divergent and maybe room service for dinner.
I have two wakes to go to this coming week, so I'm so wishing this weekend would never end

We've had a blast so far this weekend. We had a Groupon for the Park Plaza, so we stayed there last night. We started with drinks there, had dinner at PF Changs, hopped on the train to the North End for dessert at Mike's, walked to Fanueil Hall, then a night cap at the pub near the hotel. This morning we had breakfast at Max Brenners, shopped at the Pru and got cupcakes from Georgetown. Tomorrow, all we are planning to do is grocery shopping and laundry. I'm beat!
No big plans for us this weekend. Will probably run some errands and maybe see Divergent. Very much looking forward to a low key weekend to relax.
I am trying to convince DH to see divergent tomorrow. Let me know if you go and if you guys like it!
We did end of seeing Divergent yesterday, I thought it was really good. Four was amazingly hot!! I had read the books, DH had not. He said he liked it but was more of a "girly" movie.
We went to the theater in Woburn which is closest to us, and they have installed reclining leather seats which were amazing!! Totally made it worth while to go out and see a movie.

That sounds awesome! I was just saying last night to DH how much more I like watching movies from our couch because it's more comfortable than movie theater seats (amongst other reasons). Is this in all their screening rooms, or was it one of those premium ticket things?
According to the signs at the theater all of their theaters will have the reclining seats by June 2014. There are like 12 theaters in this place. It was the same price as a normal matinee, only difference was they had showed us a seating chart when we bought our tickets and had us pick seats in advance. So, on our ticket they printed the seat #, and there was a staff member in the theater directing people to their seats. It was very civilized!

Fancy!
You should try the superluxe in Chesnut Hill! You have a full recliner and can put your feet up, full wait staff, menu, and liquor. And it's 21+. Movie theaters are stepping it up!
