Yesterday after work I hit up Happy Hour for a drink and some fried zucchini, then walked over and got a pedicure. It was the BEST! My boss was telling me earlier how stressed she is with moving, and taking care of her elderly MIL, so I invited her to join me. It was nice to chat about life outside of work.
DS told me he loves my pretty green toes (they're teal, but whatever ), but next time he wants me to do them HIS favorite way - Red with Sparkles.
I overslept this morning, so while I was finishing putting my make up on, I told DS to pick out clothes and get dressed. I went into our room to find that he'd not only gotten himself dressed, he pulled out a shirt for me so we could match.
I think I have a problem. I don't know how to go small. Invitations, decorations, food, cake, strippers, favors, balloons...
And this is small considering we only invited immediate family and very close friends.
I lose my mind over this crap.
Whatever comes in the themed pack from some party supply store, you use. Screw any extras. Use evite, print, and mail. Get a party sub from Subway and an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. Buy some Doritos and a veggie platter.

Sometimes I just take on too much though.
I hear ya. It can be hard to resist.
Look at me, giving children's party advice when I have no fucking clue what I'm talking about. haha!
LOL. I moved out. It was um... interesting. I didn't have any help. Or a truck. It was me and my car. Luckily I wasn't moving any furniture. Just boxes and clothes.
I discovered I really can lift and carry an 80 pound box by myself and not break anything.
There's still some shit at stbx's house that I need to get. Just little stuff shoved in closets everywhere. I told him I'll clear it all out before the divorce is final.
I went out on my date on Saturday night. We went to Benihana, then went to see Noah (new Russell Crowe movie) and then we went to a bar for a few hours to talk and catch up with each other. We have another date scheduled for next weekend.
One side note: It's been probably 4 or 5 years since I went to a movie theater. The security guy sweeping the theater and the emergency exit hallway every 15 minutes was weird.
I have tons of Target furniture, all still going strong!
Desk, end table, file cabinet, 2 accent tables, coffee table, a console table, and a cabinet that I use for storing my good china. Plus at least 3 lamps. I <3 Target.
