I need make-up recommendations. I usually use whatever the drug stores have on sale but decided it's time to grow up. My bff gave me a whole bunch of samples that I will never be able to afford. What do you all use?
Does anyone use bare minerals with dry skin? She goes on and on about it but I have very dry skin and worries about looking caked on? If you have dry skin, what do you use?
I went into ulta and feel in love with Urban Decay Naked. Is it worth the price? Also how do you feel about the urban Decay setting spray? Does it really work?
I love Bare Minerals. I keep stupidly trying to switch to other products only to hate them and come crawling back to BM. I get it on ebay brand new for half price. If I'm well moisturized, I find that it looks good on my dry skin. I have a pretty even skin tone to begin with (well, when I'm not not pregnant. Now it's just...ugh) so I just use a little to smooth everything. I use their Warmth powder as a bronzer and I will never buy another kind ever again. I love this product!
Almay smart shade concealer works well for me because I'm not very adept at choosing between a million colors to try to match my skin tone. This blends effortlessly into my skin tone with no guess work. Plus, it's cheap.
I also absolutely love MAC gel eyeliner in Blacktrack. It's the only eyeliner that doesn't smudge for me. I've even gone to bed with it on and woke up in the morning without a smudge. I apply with one of their brushes- I think it's 209?
My last holy grail product is the E.L.F. eyelid primer. I usually just use it on its own, but it's definitely made eye shadow last longer and apply better for me when used together. The best part is that it's only $1.
I just use whatever for mascara, blush, and eye shadow since I haven't found anything I love. But the products I mentioned above I will continue to buy again and again.
I have knock off bare minerals and like it, but I don't use it that often. I usually just use coverup under my eyes, then mascara and occasionally eye shadow. I also have dry skin and can't seem to find a good spf face lotion. I have a Neutragena one now that's just OK.

@emtmissy which Naked? I really like 1 & 2, 3 just did not work for me. Before I got mine I had never spent anywhere near that much on eyeshadow but I definitely think it's worth it - I like the quality plus it lasts forever.

I usually just do bareminerals an eyeliner and mascara but I've noticed dark circles under my eyes which I didn't ask for. Whatever concealer I had used to suffice, but recently mine hasn't been cutting it. Got a sample of this stuff and have LOVED it. I never would have bought it without trying the sample because it sounds like such BS but it really brightens up my eyes!

I actually think the elf setting spray is a good dupe for the one you listed. I use that occasionally. I also use the hd setting powder, the eyelid primer, and the eye liner in the pot (lasts forever)! You can get all that for like $10.
Aside from that, I use maybeline under eye brightener, smashbox bb cream, mascara (always changing), and an eyebrow duo.
