2. We have our last childbirth class tonight and an ultrasound tomorrow morning to check on my low-lying placenta. I can't wait to see him again! Also, he has figured out how to put what I can only assume is a foot on my hip bone and push his whole body up against my other side. I like the movement because I know he is ok but some things he does are starting to get painful.
3. I'm not a fan of words on baby clothes, especially ones with innuendo.
1. How far along are you this week? 35 weeks this week 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I washed the majority of the clothes and blankets that we have and put them away. We're still waiting on our glider, although I have a feeling that our baby is going to arrive before it will 3. Flip side of last week's question: what do you hate seeing babies wear? Ugly, trashy, etc. I really don't care what people put their kid in, if we have a girl I think I will avoid the giant headbands, they're just not my style. The gender stereotyping that occurs really annoys me as well 4. What's your favorite beverage to drink in the morning? Milk
1. How far along are you this week? 18w6d 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Still feeling a little movement, but I wish it was more consistent. Feeling impatient that I still need to wait two weeks for the A/S, even though I know the sex. 3. Flip side of last week's question: what do you hate seeing babies wear? Ugly, trashy, etc. Overly gendered clothing; not a huge fan of baby bikinis 4. What's your favorite beverage to drink in the morning? Currently, roobios tea. Less frequent, chai lattes.
1. How far along are you this week? 17 weeks 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? we found out on Saturday we are having a boy! 3. Flip side of last week's question: what do you hate seeing babies wear? Ugly, trashy, etc. It is not what they wear but the lack of what they are wearing. It really bothers me when babies don't have socks or hats on outside EXCEPT during the summer months. 4. What's your favorite beverage to drink in the morning? coffee
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? We moved over the weekend, so can finally start thinking about setting up things for baby. Can't believe I'm in 3rd tri already!
3. Flip side of last week's question: what do you hate seeing babies wear? Ugly, trashy, etc. Whatever those "clown clothes" are (the total mish-mash of patterns with huge wide legs and sleeves and bows? Does anyone know what I'm talking about?). While I like a lot of classic styles (some smocking, some monograms, etc.), I definitely don't like the overboard southern look (huge bows, super fussy, etc.). Good thing I live in Chicago so it's not really an issue.
Oh and obviously I hate trashy clothes on babies. I prefer to avoid slogans of any kind, things that are meant to look "sexy", etc.
4. What's your favorite beverage to drink in the morning? Water I guess.
1. How far along are you this week? 12 +1 day though I am measuring 4 days a head. By Thursday I will be 13 + 1 day. 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I have a headache and having nightmares lately. I wake up at 3 and panic that something is wrong w/baby. 3. Flip side of last week's question: what do you hate seeing babies wear? I am not a baby legs fan. They never stayed up and looked silly. 4. What's your favorite beverage to drink in the morning? STRONG coffee. Oh how I miss it so.

1. How far along are you this week? 23w6d 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Since Friday afternoon I've been walking after every meal (15-30 mins) in an attempt to help control my gd. I'm really proud of myself for sticking with it, and hope I can keep it up (or at least after 1-2 meals if not all 3). 3. Flip side of last week's question: what do you hate seeing babies wear? Ugly, trashy, etc. I'm not a huge fan of animal print clothing or things that are too busy/bright. 4. What's your favorite beverage to drink in the morning? A latte, either caramel or vanilla.

1. 20 weeks 2. We found out friday that its a girl! And more importantly that it is totally healthy. I'm so excited, FI had convinced himself it was a boy, but it really excited too. 3. I have honestly never thought about baby clothes before. I have a lot to learn. 4. Coffee. Usually hazelnut with cream.

Omg, yes. It infuriates me to see babies without socks and it's 40 degrees or below outside. I get really angry. That poor baby has cold feet, put some freaking socks/shoes or whatever on!!

1. How far along are you this week? 5w 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I was standing in the kitchen on Saturday and my nose started gushing blood. I googled...it's normal. I now sweat when I sleep. And the thought of plain water doesn't sound good. And so it begins... 3. Flip side of last week's question: what do you hate seeing babies wear? Ugly, trashy, etc. Echo what a lot of you already said about princessy stuff, branded, or anything with innuendos. 4. What's your favorite beverage to drink in the morning? My vanilla protein shake with almond milk, and a spoonful of almond butter. Keeps me full for hours. I sure hope these don't gross me out down the road...I love them.
1. 23 weeks 2. I started my registry this weekend. Huge black hole of time. LOL 3. I don't know. I don't really pay attention to other people's babies. :? 4. Used to be coffee. I developed an aversion about a year ago, and now it upsets my stomach. My favorite thing now is a chai latte!
2. AW: We organized and cleaned the second bedroom this weekend. This was a huge feat as we downsized from a townhouse to a 2 bedroom condo. The second bedroom had become a junk/storage room. It took a lot of effort but we finished it in a day and we are so happy it's done. The second bedroom will be a office/nursery. Gotta love living in HCOL area.
Vent: Which I talked about in my post, no more spin for now. My doctor didn't even know what spin was when I asked her if I could still spin when she said no strenuous exercise. I'm really disappointed but I'll just have to deal. Good thing the weather is getting better so I will be going out for more walks.
3. IMO, I do not like baby bikini's. Sorry! Lol!
4. Ummm...lately I've just been drinking water. Prior to pregnancy, I loved a chai tea latte which I've had occassionally or in the summer a iced unsweetened green tea or passion tea from Starbucks.

aqualuv, are you seeing a high-risk OB? If not, so many women spin while pregnant! The beauty of it is that you can do it at your own pace and still get a good workout.
ETA: Just read your other thread. I don't know anything about a low-lying placenta but it sounds like that's why your doc told you to avoid strenuous exercise. Hope everything turns out OK and you don't have to be restricted much longer!
1. How far along are you this week? 27 weeks 3 days 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Just feeling large and cumbersome. After 3 previous pregnancies I think everything is so stretched, muscles and ligaments, that she is riding very low. It makes moving around quite uncomfortable. 3. Flip side of last week's question: what do you hate seeing babies wear? Ugly, trashy, etc. The only thing I hate is when parents dress their kids in matching outfits. All 3 of my kids have completely different fashion likes and I could never see the point in doing this. 4. What's your favorite beverage to drink in the morning? I really only drink ice water. I have an occasional Mr. Pibb or root beer or sweet ice tea.

What's wrong with strenuous exercise?
It's because I have complete previa. My placenta is completely covering my cervix. So that's what my doctor said no strenuous exercise and no sex until they see if my placenta moves. I have another ultrasound scheduled in 8 weeks.

Thank you! I know I have loved going to spin. I'm really sad that I have to take a break from it. I'm hoping after my next ultrasound I can go back. But for now, I will stick to walking and prenatal yoga. I'm going to look for a indoor pool so maybe I can add swim in as well for cardio.
1. How far along are you this week? 23 weeks, 4 days 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? We went to a black tie ball Saturday night and had a really great time. I had worried about how big I would be and my outfit for a couple months leading up to it, but it worked out perfectly! I seriously felt so pretty (it's nice not having to worry about sucking in!) and absolutely loved my dress. I think it was the perfect time in this pregnancy for this type of occasion! 3. Flip side of last week's question: what do you hate seeing babies wear? Ugly, trashy, etc. I am not a fan of clothes with funny or inappropriate sayings, or really any with writing in general. I don't like character clothes or overly frou-frou outfits for girls, or anything for boys that try to make them too grown up or macho. I also prefer white or very light colors on tiny babies. 4. What's your favorite beverage to drink in the morning? It used to be coffee, but now I just have water or decaf on the weekends.
cuccaro, FABULOUS. Between the fantastic dress, your sassy hairstyle and your handsome arm candy, you look picture perfect. I'm so glad RTR worked out for you. I briefly perused their "bump-friendly" section for weddings I went to at 30 and 31 weeks but I was large and in charge by that stage, so I was nervous about fit. Looks like you found the perfect dress!

You are so sweet, thank you! And yeah, I think I got pretty lucky with a stretchy dress
1. 19w3d this week! 2. Nothing too new. Still feeling movement, but H isn't able to feel it on the outside yet. 3. I really hate those giant flower headbands on girls and I dislike anything really gender specific. I also agree with pps - no obnoxious slogans or vulgar wording on onesies. 4. Orange juice all the way.
1. 16w4d 2. I think I am feeling the kiddo move! I had anterior placenta with DS1 so didn't real feel anything until like 22w. I can't wait until the "pops" become stronger and more consistent. 3. I'm not a fan of baby clothes with the "Mommy's Little Monster" and "Daddy's Hero" and stuff on it. 4. I'm alll about coffee in the morning.
1. 18w4d 2. I went to visit my family this weekend (they live 2 hours away). My mom, aunt, and I went on a scouting trip to buy Buy Baby so when H and I go next week to register, it's not as overwhelming. My 4 teenage/20-something brothers are so excited about this baby, it's adorable. Overall, I've been feeling really good and I am enjoying this stage of pregnancy a lot. 3. I hate the onesies that say "if you think I'm cute, you should see my mom/dad/aunt/whatever." 4. Hot tea with milk and sugar.
You look awesome cuccaro! I didn't know RTR had maternity- I have several weddings coming up so will keep it in mind.
Thank you! They actually don't have maternity dresses, just a section of "bump friendly" non-maternity dresses. The one I wore had several reviewers comment with a picture that they wore it while pregnant and that it's stretchy, etc. They send you two sizes, so that helps as well!
1. How far along are you this week? 5w 2d 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Finally figured out the prenatals were causing most of my fatigue/nausea. I take them at night and feel so much better. 3. Flip side of last week's question: what do you hate seeing babies wear? Ugly, trashy, etc. I agree with the others that said the "I love my aunt/uncle/daddy" onesies. I buy Carter's packs for friends, and always cringe a little. 4. What's your favorite beverage to drink in the morning? Right now water. I was drinking coffee, but pregnancy was the push I needed to stop that habit.
