The place is small, but everyone I met seemed nice and good to work with/for. I'm their dream candidate, so I think they're going to make me an offer at some point. They typically do one more interview though, and I haven't met with the CFO yet. Yes, this place is so small I met with the CEO and the COO today.
I'm conflicted on whether to go back to FT work, I guess I'm realizing how nice it's been to stay home with S all this time. I wish this was happening in the fall, since she'll be going to school FT and I might stress about it less.
In any case, we'll see what the upcoming week brings.
Holy crap, things can change on a dime. My company I freelance for just e-mailed about me going up to FT with them, working remotely. Which totally changes the equation. Eeek!
So these added hours for my current freelance work will only happen until June at the latest, when things typically die down for the summer. I need to talk to the other guy I work for, and see if he envisions me doing stuff for them after that.
This is super hard and stressful. There are pros and cons of both sides of the equation, and I feel like someone is going to get screwed no matter what decision I make.
Wow, congrats! They both sound like great opportunities! Don't feel bad, you have to do what's right for you and your family. Good luck figuring it out! When all else fails, go with your gut. It will tell you what you want to do.
