I've pretty much decided not to be productive today at work. I'm working on my meal plan and grocery list.
So what are you up to this weekend?
I have a haircut this afternoon. Tomorrow we are taking the kids to Disney on Ice in the morning. Tomorrow night daycare has their monthly Parent's Night Out, so we will drop off the kids and go out for our first kid free meal in about 4.5 months.
A kid free meal sounds amazing! Tomorrow will be filled with laundry and hopefully cleaning our bedroom. Sunday we are going to a friend's house to grill and hang out.
Tonight we are going to our first Braves game of the season, I'm so excited! Tomorrow we are getting together with my niece for her birthday and Sunday is wide open.
Potty-training. We'll be close to the house all weekend. I'm assuming I'll HAVE to take a Target trip after bedtime as least once so I can get out of the house. I have all the materials for training and lots of booze.

I'm just praying it clicks for her fast!
Good luck. I will say that we tried for a while with DS and it didn't go well. Then all of sudden he sort of did it on his own.
Nothing much planned for tonight. I might finish taping & painting the trim in the bathroom.
Tomorrow I have a playdate with an old friend & her son at a local park. In the evening I'm going to the Evil Dead musical with my bff. We're seated in the "splatter zone." We're going to get drunk & have fun.

Not much this weekend, especially since it is the last weekend before tax season ends so my husband will be living in his office.
Tonight we are having dinner with my aunt and cousin. I have no idea about Saturday and Sunday, probably just hanging out with C which is fine with me because I've been really busy this week so I don't think we've snuggled enough:)

My h is in the field, so he won't be home all weekend. So I am going to just try to keep the kids alive and not go insane. My toddler really wants to play outside, but the baby hates being outside. I have not figured out how to make this work.

Do you have a pack n play you can bring outside? You can bundle her up and put her in there in a bumbo or bouncy with her toys. Maybe she would be ok with that?
@dixienormus I am so looking forward to baby snuggles this weekend as well. doctordonna I hope you have an awesome weekend away with your H and the girls.

Nothing crazy here. Just trying to keep the kids calm so I can GBCN. Hunter's bday party is next weekend (oh shit!) so I'll probably be making gum paste lego men all weekend long. Oh, and he's telling everrryyyyooonnee that the kids will eat a Lego Movie cake, and the adults will have an ALCOHOL Lego Movie cake. I'm like "I'M ONLY MAKING 1 CAKE AND THERE IS NO ALCOHOL IN IT. STAHP TELLING PEOPLE THIS!" He also invited the Flounder sample lady from Sam's Club to his party, but only if she sets up the cart and serves flounder.
H is taking Hunter to play golf tomorrow AM, and then he's going to plant flowers with Amelia in the afternoon. I just want the kids and the dog outside all day, so I can play with sugar in peace. The kids choir will be singing at church on Sunday, and I'm hoping Hunter doesn't sword fight with his palm branch like he did last year.

My friend is taking me to out for a belated birthday dinner tonight and then tomorrow I am going to work on getting my deck set up because it's finally warm enough to get the hose out. I might hang out with this guy on Saturday night, but I'm not sure if I'll feel up to it (I have some sinus crap happening and a nasty cough).
Sunday....I don't think I have anything planned for Sunday. Probably head over to my community garden and start getting that ready for the season.

Mmmm, alcohol lego cake sounds good. Kahlua and Bailey's filling.

Yay for a belated birthday dinner! I told Brian about raised bed gardening and he apparently knows all about it, because our friends have one. We are going over to their house this weekend to scope out their setup. I am really excited and hopefully by next year I will have two raised bed gardens. One for fruits and one for vegetables.

Hunter always sneaks a finger of buttercream when I make irish cream buttercream. He's like "I LOVE ALCOHOL." I can't take him anywhere for fear of getting reported to CPS.
I may or may not tackle the mountain of clean laundry that needs to be folded. I mean, I guess I could do it now, but I'd rather lay in bed.
I hate folding laundry. I currently have 4 baskets full of clean laundry that needs to be folded. That will be one of the things I will be doing this weekend. With a glass of wine. lol

I offered to do Graylor's (now XH) when we moved in together. He told me that I folded it wrong and unless I started folding it the way he liked it, he didn't want me to do his laundry.
