It makes my Boba 3g and experiences with an Ergo feel like sitting on a wooden chair, and the Tula like sitting on a couch. Yet it's not really any bulkier!
The back carry feels so natural. Almost as if I'm wearing a backpack. The Boba 3G does a decent back carry, but DS doesn't rest as comfortably against my back.
You're OAD right? Do you think it's worth the price tag even if you're not going to use it for a subsequent kid? I want one but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger since we are not having any more kids.
So glad you like it! We love ours. @carmensandiego we think we are one and done and I didn't get mine until after my son turned 2 and love it. So worth the money in my opinion. Added plus is they keep their value (as of now) so when you are done you will most likely make a portion if not all your money back! CloudBee which did you get?

Isn't it amazing? I love mine so much! I'm sure I'll end up with a WC standard at some point in the next couple of months and I'm going to get a toddler canvas as well when Chloe is back in stock.

Resale value is great especially if it ends up being a discontinued print! (but even if its not you can probably resell for a good amount of what you paid. lots of people like broken in ones)
I also jumped on the Tula train this week. I got a toddler sized carrier because Charlie was outgrowing the Ergo and leaning back a lot. It didn't feel safe or secure anymore.
It's SO comfortable. The extra width and support up around his shoulders makes a huge difference and I think he is much happier in the carrier now too.
I will chime in and say we LOVE ours too. I was very happy with our Beco but the Tula is a whole new world.
I was considering a Beco Gemini - can you compare the two?
We had the Butterfly II. It was comfortable, easy to get on and certainly served us well. I will say once C hit 22 or 23lbs it started to feel a little "close."
We have the Tula Toddler. I think the shoulder straps are better padded and thus even more comfy. The height stops C from arching and it just feels like we have more space.
i would certainly recommend the Beco. I would just extra-recommend the Tula. Does that even make sense, lol?
I really want one but she isn't quite 21 pounds yet. Could we still do a toddler? She is 31 inches.
ETA: We have a Beco Butterfly and she seems to be getting big for that.
My son is just 20lbs but is 34in and fits fine on toddler. It might come up to high at only 31 inches. At 34 inches I have to pull it down a bit when taking a picture of my little guy so his mouth can be seen.

Yeah, ditto. C is 32" and it feels weird having him so "covered," so to speak, but I think it's just because I'm used to the Ergo being so low-cut.
Will someone on here buy my gently used Ergo so I can buy a Tula?
Sell it on the babywearing swap on FB! There is one I think that is for carriers/wraps with under $100 too if you don't want to deal with the huge swap.
