Last night at work was nice, we did a few calls but overall it was a nice and slow night. I got in a 7 hour nap. So I don't need to sleep today, well I might have a nap before we go to a friends house for his birthday bbq.
The carpet guy is here, the underlay is put in and he is just working on placing the actual carpet now. He said he will be done between 12-1. He has been here since 8am.
DH went to help his dad with a few things, while I clean out the fridge that will be moving into our suite. Only using one fridge might be hard now that I have been buying so much fresh stuff. When we bought more processed stuff we didn't need all this space.
BFN, though I've had absolutely no PMS symptoms this past week. Normally I'm a raging bitch the entire week preceding my period. This means wrapping up the first year of TTC with no success plus no chance of 2014 due date. I'm moping today. My regular doctor said she'd start testing after we hit the year mark, but H doesn't want to pursue testing at this time, but rather try "harder". But he'd prefer me not to temp, so I don't know how he plans to try more without temping or testing.
In other news, we now have an upstairs bathroom door and a bedroom door! Next steps are to order closet doors and the spare room door, and to put laminate down on the stair landings. Then it's just carpet runner and trim! Almost there!
I also just counted, and I have 2 more assignments for each of my two classes! End is in sight here too!
grover- I am sorry that you are hitting the year mark. Hitting certain milestones really do suck. I am sorry that you are not entirly on the same page with ttc as your H is, DH and I are not on the same page either, it sucks. DH doesn't think that we should do any further testing then we already have had done. (I have had CD3&21 testing, but he hasn't had a SA, but his thought is that I have gotten pregnant twice so it can't be him right?)
Yay for doors. I love when we get things around the house done even if they are the little things.
I'm procrastinating, too. I need to be doing homework right now, but my brain just wants to rest.
I'm taking way too many credits this term. I'm only two weeks into the term, and the thought of sitting down and doing homework is already stressing me out more than is healthy. 90% of my life stress comes from my terrible work environment, and I didn't get the job I interviewed for earlier this week. I have another interview on Tuesday, but it's for a casual position so I'm not sure that I can even accept it if they offer it to me (I need to find out more details at my interview). I'm trying to stay positive, but I'm not doing a very good job at it.
I had a sore throat last night and I feel kinda achy today. not sure if it's allergies or if I'm getting sick. I take Zyrtec every day but I took a long walk outside yesterday so maybe there's something blooming I'm not used to. I made it through the whole winter fine and NOW I get sick?!
awick14 It does suck. Hopefully both of our Hs get on the same page as us soon. I think the next time I go to my doctor I'm going to schedule any testing she can do on me. Then I'm just going to keep encouraging him to ask his doctor to run blood work/check his hormone levels and then go on to a SA.
Please tell me that you plan on (or already did) going to lay down on the nice new carpet as soon as it's installed. That was (and still is) my brother and my favorite part about new carpet. We tore all of our carpeting out, and the only part we'll need put down eventually is a runner for the stairs.
We have super plush carpet in my home office. Installed a year and a half ago. I still regularly sprawl out on the floor because it's the only carpet in the house.
katespade- sorry you have been feeling so stressed lately. I hope you get a new job soon, being stressed at work sucks!
kermit- I hope your not sick! Allergies suck to though.
grover- I haven't laid on it yet, I have been busy cleaning the fridge out. Done now so relaxing then I will probably go sprawl out downstairs before we go the party tonight.
jjwritergirl- I hated when we lived in an apartment and we had to wait for them to turn the ac on. being on the 6th floor sucks in the heat.
The new carpets are in! I will be going down to lay on them soon. a little more cleaning tomorrow and I will be able to take pics of the suite and post it online for rent. so stocked!

I've been kind of bummed the last few days, because what would have been my due date is approaching. I finally told H how I was feeling thinking he had long forgot what the due date would have been. Turns out, he immediately remembered and said he had been thinking about it too.
DH got the kitchen tiled!! (everything but the very last corner he worked himself out of, will finish that after work sometime next week), then we mowed the front yard until it was dark. We got home and he trimmed the hedges out front and while I was out back with the dogs he came back there and brushed out Morrow. I swear that man was working hard today. He left the house before 9 this morning, and I was shortly behind him, and he didn't get finished doing stuff until 9:30 tonight!
We are on track at the new house which is awesome! So sleepy and ready for bed. It's hard to keep up with him normally, but especially when I am on my period.

((hugs)) wanderingenough. The EDD milestone is hard. Glad that you were able to talk to your DH and that you have each other to lean on right now. Praying for you as you reach this milestone and also for a BFP really soon.
grover- Sorry to hear about your 1 year milestone. Sending you lots of ((hugs)). You are in my thoughts and prayers as well and I hope you get your BFP soon.

How the hell is it so much warmer just a few hours south? It was maybe 50 today back home but here in Iowa it was 85 and just got done storming. It's like summer here!
I'm so stuffed. We didn't eat breakfast until like 11:30 then we wandered around an area with cute shops. We saw chalk on the sidewalk that said free wine tasting, so of course we followed it. Then we went to a pizza place where we got crab rangoon pizza which was amazing! Then we did a wine and cheese tasting, then dinner at a place with huge burgers. All amazing but I think I gained 20 pounds on this weekend lol. Oh well
Ok, another random. I just got a phone call from an area code near my parents. At midnight. Freaked me out so I answered. Apparently I won a cruise to the Bahamas! Wtf? After getting pissed and hanging up, they called back! I'm so annoyed and creeped out right now!
Yesterday it was in the high 70s/low 80s and beautiful. DH was out mowing the lawn and all that good stuff. Tonight we have a chance of snow. WTF spring?
Also - It's amazing what I will get done when I get as much sleep as I want. I woke up this morning, and started picking up stuff on the floor and vacuumed the entire house - all before my cup of coffee. DH helped once I told him what I was doing. Then while I was making breakfast DH kept cleaning. Awesome way to start our morning. Now to sit back, drink my coffee, and read the paper.
Um the temps yesterday were near 80 degrees. Now it's supposed to storm all day and there's going to be snow tomorrow!? WTH?
I KNOW! Isn't this insane?
It got up to 83 here. The thunder is just now coming and snow showers tomorrow. INSANITY.
Stupid Illinois. Haha.
I want to move out of state. We're considering the possibility of maybe doing so in a few years.
THe rain isn't supposed to start here until after 11. I have to try to fit in walking the dog and a Sam's club trip that I'd prefer to complete without getting soaked.

The nice thing about laundry is that it makes me feel productive even though it doesn't take a lot of work other than a few minutes of folding. I'm currently enjoying a sunny 80 degree day In the shade of my screen porch and it's divine. I like that I can tell h that I accomplished something while sitting on my butt lol.

Hope the storms pass soon. Everyone sounds like they have been very productive this weekend.
Today was a somewhat productive day but I am feeling overwhelmed by my house/responsibilities right now. I don't think the caffeine helped.
I am at my H's lax game and as usual have to pee even though we just got here. How does this happen??? I peed 40 minutes ago I shouldn't have to pee again. There is no bathroom around. Why do I keep doing this lol!?!?
awick14 I'm so jealous of your carpet installation. I really want new carpet but I don't want to have to spend the money right now.
Also, I'm starting back on nights again tonight so hopefully it's as smooth as your night. The next full moon is Tuesday and I'm working that night so I'm sure all hell will break loose.
My first day back to work after vacation is Wednesday, the day after the full moon. All the moms coming in labor on Tuesday night will deliver during my shift. MrsAggie, me and you will be having fun I think.
