I had an awesome and productive weekend.
Friday night we stayed in and watched some shows on the DVR.
Saturday I worked and we are pretty much done with everything that we owe people for tax season. I think we just have a few things to wrap up and anything else at this point is working on stuff that we put on extension. Saturday night we had dinner at my dad's house and the 1st bbq of the season!
Sunday, DH And I went out for brunch and did a bunch of errands. Then I went for a 5 mile run and felt amazing during it and my legs are tired today but I'm feeling better than my last 5 mile run. Then I did a big cleaning of the kitchen while DH did a few hours of raking leaves and putting down grass seed so our lawn isn't so bare.
I'm so mad that today is going to be gorgeous and I'm stuck here all day. I just want to go lay outside in the grass.
The weather is AMAZING. I am wearing sandals at work today.
I got back from FL late Friday. Saturday we went to the dog park and I cleaned out my closet. I have 4 reusable grocery bags filled with stuff to get rid of. Then Saturday afternoon our friends from CT came up and we went out on moody and went to dinner at tempo. Yesterday was lazy. Walk with the dog, watched the masters, went to target and the grocery store. Overall a good lazy weekend.
Today I am back at work. But I transition to my new role later this week so I am doing nothing. I'm bored honestly.
Friday I had planned to take off and then realized I had to be here for a program one of my student teams was doing. It was a great program, just a long day which kicked off my very long weekend.
This weekend was my Sorority's annual convention and we held it jointly with our affiliated Fraternity for the first time in 5 years. It was a blast and everyone had a great time. It was also exhausting, I think I maxed out at 5 hrs of sleep each night. Friday night I had the pleasure of busting up the "party of the night" in one of the hotel rooms due to noise complaints. The brothers may not have known who I was before the weekend, but they certainly do now
I even had a pretty good tagline going for the weekend for everyone to "make good choices".
Now it's back to work and catching up on a bunch of emails. I am super bummed I missed the GTG on Saturday but hopefully the May one works out for me

LOL, sucks to be the grown up sometimes, doesn't it?
preppy, what do you think of Tempo? We haven't tried it yet and I'm debating whether it's worth it.
We have been probably 4 times? I really like it. The regular menu is great but the specials are always fantastic!! DH had a seared tuna special and I got a risotto special. Everything is always great.
Happy Monday! It was wonderful driving in with the windows down today when it's so freakin gorgeous out, though I think the breeze is starting to pick up here.
Saturday, family spent all day at my grandfather's storage unit cleaning it out. My new goal in life is to get to old age with minimal posessions so my family is not gloomily going through things of sentimental value within a month after my death. Next saturday I might be doing the exact same thing for a friend of the family.
Sunday I had a hair appointment. I sprung for the balayage "caramel" highlights and it looks amazing! I've always dyed my hair darker but I guess lighter works on me too. The rest of the day I spent on wedding research and wedding emails. I think I have my caterer, photographer, and band chosen based on the quotes they gave me. It's finally coming together. (hot)
Hi Guys! Oh it was such a gorgeous weekend. I am so excited the winter may (finally) be over!
Sat we went to Mahoney's just to enjoy being outside and looking at plants. I bought a cute african violet for my office. Then we drove up to the Merrimack Outlets and went shopping. I *LOVE* that place! We need to stop going there though, bad for our wallet. I did find cute new shoes for work for 70% off at Naturalizer, so they were $18! Score!
Sun we did some chores at home and then went to TJ Maxx. We seriously have a shopping addiction problem. Also finished our taxes and a bunch of other random stuff.
Why do weekends go by so fast? I feel like we didn't do much and yet I am SO tired. I can't seem to get enough sleep these days to catch up.
Friday I flew home from Atlanta. So exciting, I tell ya
Saturday I sang at a PACKED funeral, chilled in the afternoon, and headed out to the GTG. It was so much fun, especially finally meeting lizlemon19. I was surprised DH was still up when I got home.
Sunday I sang at church in the morning, then took over childcare while DH went off to hit people with large sticks in the afternoon. I made yummy lasagna for dinner, and homemade rolls, and stroopwaffels for dessert. The kitchen was a mess

Fri DH and I had a "date night" while SIL babysat. We went to a local place for dinner and it was awesome and so unhealthy.
Sat, I got house stuff done, ran errands, applied for a waitressing job, and got a mani pedi. Then went to my 1st boston area gtg. I had a great time chatting, eating, and drinking wine. It was nice to put faces to the names. Even though I was the only newbie, I felt welcomed.
Sun, I went to yoga, more housework, and then to the IL's. They did Easter baskets for the kids since we will be gone next week.

We successfully pulled off our first family passover seder! We started it yesterday and it all worked out amazingly well Plus the kids are now obsessed with the 10 plagues :Y:

Haha, I can see why kids could totally get behind that aspect of the story - they can't resist anything gross/weird/cool like that.
I did a whole lot of nothing this weekend. We'd planned to do a bunch of stuff, but I can't seem to shake this cold, so we mostly just hung out. H spent all day Saturday putting together a grill (if only he'd decided to say eff it and ignore the directions earlier), while I napped. Sunday, we ran errands and caught up on the dvr. It was really nice, and I'd much rather be there than at work right now, siiigh.
