I'm having a weird crampy/achy pain low on my left side. It's been fairly constant for about 10 minutes and walking helps. My belly isn't hard either.
Is this BH? Or just random pain? Maybe the baby is laying in a weird position?
I mentioned it to h and he's panicking a little. Lol I'm 30w4d.
Update - talked to ob's office. They're not super concerned about the pain, but when I mentioned he's been kind of quiet in there today, they asked me to come in. He's been doing some small movements but not his usual rolls. Will keep you all posted.
I have been getting a random pain occasionally on my lower left side lately too. It feels sort of like menstrual cramps. But no tightening like a BH. I asked my midwife if it was contractions and she said it sounded more like round ligament discomfort or the baby pressing on a nerve. She also asked if I was constipated because the baby's position can sometimes push your intestines over to the left and cause discomfort in that area.
at 30 weeks I'd say the baby is shoving a foot or a hand in there. Can you massage the area with your fingers? Maybe you can get the baby to move outta there.

Update #2 - all is good! They hooked me up to monitors for a non-stress test to track the baby's heartbeat and see if I was having contractions. His heart rate was great and I wasn't having any contractions. And he decided to try to kick the monitors off as soon as they got me hooked up. The doc did a cervix check and that was good - he could tell the baby was head down and could bounce it off my cervix. Lol
He thinks the pain is a pulled round ligament, which explains why it feels different than regular rlp. Interesting tidbit - if lay on your back and shift your whole belly slowly to one side and then the other and are having rlp (or have a pulled round ligament), you'll clearly be able to feel the rl's. When he pushed my belly toward the side that's hurting it felt better. When he pushed to the opposite side it didn't feel good at all.
