In the last half hour it's gone from "Juris Doctor" to "a law degree".
She can keep the JD, she just can't say she's an attorney.
I think it's fucking hilarious that we all called her full of shit, she threatened to sue us, and three days later the story line has completely changed to her editing anything and everything under the sun out of fear that she will be on the receiving end of legal process.
She's spineless. Megan Heimer can spew her lies, misinformation, and can go about compromising public health all day long, but the minute someone challenges her, she runs away and can't stand up for her position.
Sounds like someone I would want to take advice from.

Yeah, that change made me wonder if she actually has a JD.

The whole situation is crazy. I am a little surprised she is changing everything so quickly. Although I agree it seems near impossible for her to change everything she put out there.

I posted earlier but I think it got lost- her linkedin says she only went to Cooley for 2 years- not three.

Transferred to another school?
Didn't finish?
finished early-- is this possible?
Duh. She was so bored with just the MD, yoga certification, "natural health therapist" classes, and writing a book that she OBVIOUSLY did law school in two years too. Just for the extra challenge.
She finished college when her peers were graduating high school. Clearly she is a savant who mastered a demanding law curriculum in less time than the peons. I am shocked it took her two years, are we sure it wasn't 18 months?

So the ND was never a degree or is she just leaving it out because it was found here that it was mill? Also wtf type of physician believes that his wife cured herself of chrons among all other ailments?!??
You guys, Korren...I mean Megan...said that she had TWO naturopathic schools listed on her Facebook page too.
Honestly, I'm impressed at her time management skills. Finished college when her peers were graduating high school, did two years of law school, went to two different naturopathic schools, became a yoga instructor, cured herself of Chron's, recovered from Hashimoto's, PCOS, liver disease and infertility (among a whole host of other stuff) AND had four babies and adopted two more from Africa?
All the while spreading misinformation and compromising public health all over the internet?
I need a cigarette and a nap after reading all that, myself.
For those of you still playing along at home, Mr Megan Heimer is a baby doctor having graduated from med school less than 6 years ago. I'm not sure how less but she claims he is a captain in the Air Force. Google tells me that makes him an 0-3. If the google is treating me right, you're supposed to make 0-4 automatically six years after graduating med school.
Also, I'm not surprised she believes she can cure all manner of things without real medicine. The military will tell you you can cure all manner of things with 800mgs of advil.

It's actually different in certain fields. Medical and law can come in as 0-3, so they're on a different schedule to promote. It took my H something like 8 years to pin on 0-4 (from entry into service), even though he was selected 18 months prior to the actual ceremony.
It's weird that my H outranks some of my much older looking docs. My PCM and psychiatrists are 03s and look in their 50s.
She posted on her Living Whole FB page that we "feel" she's not a lawyer. Oh, and that she can't control what other websites do with the letters after her name.
"Since there are people who feel that one cannot refer to themselves as a lawyer or attorney if they are not licensed to practice law...you can call me Megan."
You mean since there are laws in place to prevent exactly what you were doing.
