She's referring to the four kids as twins but she means "virtual twinning", when you adopt a child who is around the same age as your current child. It's a common term in the adoption world but since she's in cracker eating territory it's really annoying.
Interesting. So do some families then refer to those two children as twins in every day conversation?
I was going to ask something similar ... Is it common to say one has two sets of twins, when two of those babies aren't placed yet?
Also, thank you @bad Dingo. Appreciate th e info. Lol at cracker eating territory, too.
origami Thank you for sacrificing yourself. I noticed the natural news shit too! I wish there was an easy way to explain this to my crazy inlaws to make them see that this stuff is nonsense.
If I don't post on social media for a couple of days please do not call my husband's employer and ask if I was murdered.
Actually I don't have a husband.
You never saw me here.
If anyone calls my husband's job to ask if I've died, you can be sure that I will be dead within an hour of him getting out of work, especially if the job you happened to call was his weekend warrior one and not his usual, mind numbing day job.

I think most people wouldn't actually refer to them as twins, it's more of a pre-adoption term. I'd feel bad for most people whose adoption was stalled, but not so much in this case.
I started kind of feeling bad for her when I realized she was lying about the twin thing. I still want her to stop compromising public health but I also want her to get some help.
I wonder how his residency program feels about his non-vaccinating wife or him being in agreement with all that (I assume he agrees with her). Because DH thinks physicians who openly/strongly supports the anti-vaccine movement should have their licenses removed, and I don't mean those that takes care of non-vax kids, but those that promotes non-vaxers. Pretty sure the MSU-DO programs is appalled to have him as an alum
The military medical community is small. Small and nosey. If his residency program doesn't already know about his wife's shenanigans they'll find out before too much longer, particularly if she socializes with the other spouses and talks about any of this stuff. And, speaking from experience with this exact same community, the military is absolutely one place where a spouse's behavior and activities can absolutely impact the other spouse's career.
(so if my H has a B.A. in Biology, a Minor in Chemistry, a Minor in Military Studies, an MD, and is a Major in the Army does that mean I win the Husband Credential Game against Doctor Megan Heimer who spreads lies and misinformation?)
She has to be dead. A FB comment questioning her decision to disable comments has been left there for 35 minutes.
Every time I look at the FB page, there are LESS comments than the time before. It does look like her page has picked up more likes, though. Probably all her different personalities.

I went back to work and spent my whole day working (lol) and I come back tonight to catch up. AND THIS IS WHAT I FIND.
This post is reading like fucking Chinese. I have no idea what the fuck is going on. I'm going to have to spend ALL TOMORROW figuring this shit out.
For real.
We need to send origami a case of whatever she drinks. And a nanny and a housekeeper. And a car. There's no way to properly thank her for hashing through that swill AND posting a cogent synopsis.

We have 'virtual twins' since they are 4 months apart. We don't ever describe them as twins. They are just siblings with a 4 month age difference.
This thread has been crazy. And time consuming. And fascinating.
The argument that big pharma is somehow duping us all on vaccines is kind of hilarious. Arent vaccines typically not a money maker? Like to the point that there have been articles about how they don't want to make them? Plus, anything preventative is almost always significantly cheaper than treating the actual illness.
If anything, I would guess anti vax idiots are the shills for big pharma and the healthcare industry since they would make more money off of treating those illnesses than they do off vaccines.*
*i don't actually believe this but it makes more sense than pro vax people being shills based on my (admittedly limited) knowledge of vaccines.
