It's 8:30 and I can't believe no one has mentioned the anniversary of the marathon bombing yet. Maybe I'm super involved bc it is my city but I would have thought people would have remembered it.
So as you all may remember my cat died back in February. He had been living with my parents for the past 4 years. He just randomly stopped eating, got weak and cold, and just laid down on the floor in "his" room and passed all in one day/night.
Well now my parent's cat lays in the exact spot that my cat passed, right in the middle of the floor. Before he died, she would never even go in that room because it was "his". Now she scratches at the door to be let in just to simply lay right in that spot. It is freaky as hell but kind of sweet at the same time.
When I was growing up one of our cats died and we buried him in the back yard, and then for years our other cat would spend all day laying in that exact spot in the yard. They totally know.

Yeah I'm sure they can definitely sense that sort of thing. I guess it's just strange to me because she hated my cat. Haha. He was like the annoying little brother who would jus push her buttons for fun. Haha.
I just saw a guy on the subway platform who had an umbrella with brass knuckles in the handle. Because nothing says tough motherfucker like being adequately prepared for rain.
DH is out this evening so my parents came to help me with bedtime. I am now sat on the sofa, watching tv as a is asleep in his bed and J is asleep on the sofa next to me. J is so squishy!
However my relaxation is not complete as friends of DH asked to come and see J this evening. I told them tonight wasn't good but they are going abroad tomorrow so I said ok, come at 7:30 as then I'll have got A to bed. It is now 8:30 and there is no sign of them. I am annoyed and tempted to go and have a long shower and just ignore the doorbell if they turn up.
So rude! Way to late to stop by the house of a newborn.
Nevermind grocery store manager. I agree. That was uncalled for.
I was like what does my manager have to do with this? Reading fail.
Haha unrelated.
I have to go back to the doctor that I HATED tomorrow for my third fluid check. I am hoping this virus today didn't screw anything up. Now that everyone is sick, I need this baby to wait. I am on my third large bottle of Gatorade.
The hard drive on my computer randomly fried yesterday, just as I was about to get some really important stuff done for work. Some files were recovered, but I have to wait until I pick it up tomorrow to find out if the ones I need were saved. 4 weeks before I am due to give birth is so not the time for this sort of thing. It took everything I had not to cry ugly tears when I was on the phone with apple support.
I also have been consumed by that ML post. Seriously, some of that is so stomach turning. I know there's some deceptive people out there and I'm generally naive, but I think I forget how deep some things can go in some people because I always look for the good and trust in that. But wow.
I'm living in test prep hell. We have 6 days of school before state testing, so we're focusing on reviewing everything these lovely children have forgotten this year. Which is EVERYTHING! It's like Groundhog Day and I may hurt someone.

Dead.
I need one please, lol. If you ever see one for sale LMK.
We are not letting you use her again. We will help find someone better.
This. We have to find you someone else. This is ridiculous every single time she does WORK for you... Well her not doing her work is the problem, actually!

My parents are driving home with their RV from Florida. They are currently in Nashville and they are staying there for at least one more night due to wind and winter storms. They are supposed to host easter this year but my mom said that if they don't make it home by Thursday she is going to postpone it to next Sunday which is fine but that means I have no real excuse to get out of going to the ILS this year.
