Well now you've gone and done it, Betty. I emailed our local RMH to see what I need to do to sign up for Cooking for Families. I think I can make once a month or once a quarter work for me and the boys.
If any DC area peeps would like to join in on the fun, let me know.

Ooh, I'm going to have to look into this for the Boston RMH. I love, love, love donating meals to families in crisis. What a great way to get the kids involved, too. They can make dessert, or the salad or whatnot. Great service, great idea!
let me know what you find out. I'm actually near there a lot because it's right near Joslin.
I used to help out at the RMH. You've inspired me to look into how I can get back in. I loved helping out there.
That lady is a fucking bitch. How dare she. I used to be in the Junior League and that is absolutely not the type of person they would have in the group. The ladies I was in Junior League with had hearts of gold and helped our community so much.

That updated totally deserves a fist pump. What a bitch, and I'm so glad that you have the coordinator on board to address this with the JL. Amazing.
Did your coordinator make any suggestions about if/how they are going to address it with boy's family? If he heard, his mum might want to know, but you wouldn't want to put more on her plate right now.
