I got B one of the M&D reusable sticker pads (the vehicle one). I gave it to her yesterday. I'm already considering packing it away until the next rainy day. She being obsessive and annoying about it, and it's already getting torn up and the pages wrinkled. I'm annoyed at myself for being annoyed at her because she's freaking 2, she's allowed to destroy things like this. Why am I getting pissy about it?
The boy I sit for has this. He ripped out all the pages so now we use them as window clings.
I would do the same thing, but we don't have a sliding door or any windows she can reach. I'd be holding her up to the window while she plays, and that's too much work.
Tonight after work I am heading over to one of our DC Teacher's homes (it is so nice...sigh) to help stuff easter eggs. She is hosting an Easter egg hunt at her home tomorrow and she needed some help getting ready. She is providing wine and snacks, yay. Should be fun!!!
My kids are killing me these last 2 days. All I'd like is a decent night of sleep and to not be holding a baby all day. They take turns crying the whole day because they want to be held. Sam is still waking every 3 hours to eat and then not going back to sleep. Caroline is getting some great stretches but last night she did not. My husband says I hold them too much, and when it's his turn at night he puts them down and lets them cry right in the room next to our bedroom. I'm just exhausted!
Sorry for dropping this all here! I need to get this off my chest somewhere. I wish I had more time to come on here
Also, I miss my gym poos I have broken up with my gym since we are just so busy now keeping up the house for showings. I miss those beautiful perfect gym poos, sigh...
I have no idea what to do with B today. I'm thinking of taking her to the bounce house. It's really cold here for the playground and it will still be wet. We were at the library yesterday. I'm thinking bounce house then out to lunch.
Blake scared the shit out of me last night. He has been sick, but was finally fever free. All of a sudden he started screaming bloody murder and writhing around on the floor. He would get on all 4's and bang his head on the floor, sit up and flop back to bang his head on the floor, roll up to the wall and bang his head, etc. He wouldn't let me hold him and he was legitimately freaking out. I facetimed my mom for advice and she said to get him naked to see what was bothering him--nothing there! So by this point I am just focused on him not giving himself a concussion, so I stuffed him in the ergo while he continued to scream. As I was texting Jeff that I was taking him to the ER, Blake let out the longest, loudest man fart I have ever heard. I took him out and started squeezing his stomach, and he let out 3 more just like it. Then he was fine! My child went from possessed to fine in a matter of 4 farts!

My day revolves around lunch. Seriously. Between the hours of 9:30-11:30 all I can think about is "omg im so excited for lunch. Then I usually eat my lunch at 11:30ish. At 12, Im sad I ate my lunch early. by 1:30, Im thinking "WTF... why did I eat so early. Now the rest of the day will drag. By 3... im starving and usually spooning Nutella into my mouth.

My day is revolving around naptime today. I cannot wait to put him down since he's being such a beast, but the earlier I put him down, the earlier he wakes. Plus, I have to wash and dry my hair during nap so I don't get to rest anyways.
We are currently hanging out at the Calgary airport.
My H is being a grumpy arsehole. We had to leave the house by 5am this morning, so why did he do? Stayed up until 2:30-3am playing video games. Then Owen was up off an on from 3:30-4:30 when we finally got up.
Your fault you're tired buster. Suck it up.
However, Owen was awesome on our flight. We had the very back row, which was 2 seats and a spot on the floor beside the window. It was perfect.

Me too since it is usually the time I eat chocolate. I look forward to it all day. Then after I eat I am sad.
I took be to the bounce house for run-around time, then to the new crepe restaurant for lunch. Girl loves crepes. Makes my heart happy. Then I let her watch them make crepes for awhile. Then she didn't want to leave. Cue meltdown, heel banging, planking. Scooped her off the floor and bolted because I will not let her do that in a restaurant if I can help it. Took 5 minutes to get her in the carseat because she was fighting me. That was a first. About two minutes into the drive home she finally calms down and asks to put her sweater back on. I tell her she can put it back on when we get home and tell her that we do not have tantrums in the restaurant and explain why we left so abruptly. I doubt she "gets" it but someday the "that is inappropriate behavior, when mommy says it's time to go we leave without a fuss" message will sink in. She is usually so well behaved, that was the first HUGE tantrum she has ever had out in public, and only the second one of that magnitude she has had, ever. Usually she cries and wiggles a bit and then calms down as soon as we are outside. Not today! I don't know how you guys who have tantrum-prone children do it. Totally have new respect for you guys.
I finally just got Lily down for nap. I'm on break and when I'm home with her she gets even more clingy or me than usual (which is pretty clingy). Since we night weaned and paci weaned this week it's even worse. It's ok and she's my little buddy but it's really tiring at times. She was stalling for her nap so badly, first cried for paci which she hasn't done in a week, then asked to watch pooh bear song on my phone, then asked to nurse. Then the best and weirdest of all. She started coughing and pointing to her mouth. I asked her if she was ok. She said "no Lily has hairball". Hahahaha I was cracking up. Maybe she likes cats a little too much.

I was talking to Natalie about her birthday party and telling her everyone who would be coming. She looked at me all excited and said "No?" That's how she says Nolan. It melted my heart that she's happiest about having her little brother there.
Today I went out to lunch with my friend who's also pregnant. But she only ate half her sandwich. Who eats half a sandwich? When pregnant? I don't eat half a sandwich when not pregnant. Today I'd have probably eaten a second one.

Sandwiches are great.
BFF#2 and I went hiking on Sunday. We stopped at Sheetz and I got a 6" sub. Ate that, was still hungry. Continued driving home, took a nap. Woke up at the gas stop, at another Sheetz. Went inside to pee, and got another sandwich. I had two of the exact same sandwich, two hours apart. I felt like a piggy. Until I realized that hiked 8 miles, with a 1000 foot elevation change, and didn't have a formal lunch.
Just bought a canvas on demand groupon (2 16x20 gallery wraps for $50), and ordered them for my mom and MIL for mother's day. done and done. Nice to know I won't have to think about this in a month.
