I would say Brandon, because every time he introduced himself, chances are people will think it's Brandon. I think it also flows better with your last name.
I think they are such different names. Brandon is as touch dated to me and more....American? Brendan is a little trendier and more Celtic diaspora. Lol.
Emerson Kate, born 38w5d on 4/6/12 at 6:02 p.m., 5 lbs 13 oz and 18 3/4 inches. Lucas Matthew, born 39w5d on 4/11/14 at 8:20 a.m., 7 lbs 4 oz and 20 inches.
I like them both but lean towards Brendan. It seems more Modern but classic at the same time... Fresher.
And that is my 110% honest opinion because I have a Brendan in my life that makes want to rage. lol But no other adorable little boy should not have a cool name because of him!

living near Boston where there is a high Irish population I think most little boys with that name go by Brendan. I actually haven't heard the name Brandon used in a really long time.
But like others have said they are 2 completely different names.

I like Brendan.
Agreed.
I think Brendan is also the much more common pronunciation, but, like teamhayes, that might be because I'm in an Irish-heavy area.
I also don't like the flow of Brandon Anthony as munch - the repeated "an" sound at the beginning.
