I'm up 4 lbs in just the last 2 days. I drink at least 9-10 glasses of water a day and pee a ton. Could I still be retaining water? I plan to start walking soon and hoping that helps.
Maybe. A lot depends on what stage (week) you have reached, your pre-pregnancy body type and whether the input (water is that much greater than the output (urine). It also could be a bad scale or the baby is growing. In any case, walking is great exercise for pregnant moms and your plan is sound.
Yep, could be water. Your digestion also slows down a lot in early pregnancy, which can cause your weight to vary a lot from day to day. A 3 lb difference from one day to the next is common for me.
Yes. Don't try to get rid of it besides keeping your water up. Your body is increasing its blood supply by about 50% right now so that your uterus and baby can grow everything they need. You might see things level out in a month or two (or three).
