I wear my hair in a ponytail every day because I cannot stand it in my face, on my neck, etc. I decided I needed to bite the bullet and cut it short short. I've been avoiding anything shorter than a just-above-shoulder bob cut because of being so overweight. But it cannot be good for my hair to be pulled back every day, all day.
Sooooooo
here's a pic of me at work (hair pulled back). Any suggestions of short styles that don't require a lot of work and won't drive me nuts? I've googled the heck out of pics but I am too critical of myself to make a non-biased choice.
I'd love a cut like Jaime Lee Curtis or Ginnifer Goodwin but not sure if they'd look OK on me.

I would consider bangs BUT they can't be longer than my eyebrows or they bug me/hit my glasses.
I totally have a round face and I'm plus size with glasses so I'm right there with you. But I have a pixie! I got it about 2 months ago (I'm actually due for a trim it's so long) and am in love with it. I too wore my hair back or up all the time. It was pointless to have the cut I did (an inverted bob) when I kept pinning the front hair up. I too hate having it on my neck though I have had bangs for many many years.
in short do it! I took in a college of pixie pictures and walked out with something like this:
And I repeat I freaking love it. It's hair. It grows back if you hate it. Do searches for pixies with round faces and see what you come up with. There are tons of Pinterest boards and the like dedicated to plus size with short hair.

I can't believe I'm about to post this, but I'm a big girl and here is me with a pixie cut. Honestly, it wasn't the most flattering cut with my chubby face, but I don't think it was terrible. I do think that a chin length bob would be the most flattering.

DirtySouth Thanks for the pics! A bob would be better probably but I am very NO maintenance and would never style it. And it'd annoy me being in my face. I love the highlights you have!
