Fully admit this may be judgey, but if your kids go to daycare and they are over the age of 6m, do you dress them in clothes or just send them in a sleeper?
There is a little boy who is in a sleeper 90% of the time. He's 8m, almost 9. I just feel like at that age clothes would be more appropriate.

If she goes in a sleeper, I send clothes for them to change her into. I will fully admit that sometimes I am just to damn tired in the morning. Or running behind. Or she has fuzzy sleepers that will be warmer in the frigid temperature than real clothes.
We use an in-home, if that makes a difference.
ETA: and I don't think it's a big deal to go in a sleeper. I might wear pajamas to work if I could.
I see this a lot too with kids that age and I think it's a little weird. J is 8 months and in clothes when we go out, except for very rare occasions. They're so active at this age, I feel like sleepers would be uncomfortable to wear all day.
He is a very active baby and yeah the sleepers definitely get in the way.
C has worn jammies to my Mom's often enough that I just bought clothes to keep there so my Mom can dress her if she feels like it.
Generally I dress her to go out; however, if we aren't going anywhere she could be in a sleeper all day. If I have already gotten her ready for bed and we decide to grab a quick bite or run to Target, she goes in jammies. MOTY.
I think sleepers are cozy and comfy, and while DS3 generally wears a onesie or tee and knit pants to MDO, I would not feel bad sending him in a sleeper. Conversely, I think putting a baby who can't even walk in jeans or chinos is kind of ridiculous--they look so uncomfortable! To each their own.
As a general rule I don't bother judging what a kid is wearing unless they are naked or dressed in a wildly seasonally inappropriate manner.
TBH I didn't realize how old he was until this morning when the teacher was talking to his mom about starting snack and it dawned on me that he will be almost 9m and still in a sleeper daily.
If J has to open and AJ lets him sleep in a bit, sometimes he doesn't have time (or doesn't think he has time) to put AJ in a onesie and pants instead of leaving him in his jammies. So I don't think it's odd necessarily...but I don't leave him in a sleeper all day, and give my husband grief when he does. Because my kid has too many damn clothes to be spending the day in his PJs
I sent DD in to daycare until sleepers until it got too warm for them, which was probably when she was around 6m. I probably would have done it longer if it wouldn't have been uncomfortable for her. As it is, if we're home on the weekends and not planning to go out, there are some days when we've left her in her jammies all day.
I'm sure I sent DD1 to daycare in sleepers during the winter months. She was comfy and being mobile was not really her thing. Maybe her gross motor delays were due to me dressing her in sleepers. J/K. All 3 of my kids dress themselves now, and sleepers are the least of their problems. DD1 considers herself a fashion designer and today wore navy star leggings with white bike shorts on top of them. It was the most ridiculous combo, but she was so proud. So sleepers would not get a second glance from me.

How do sleepers get in the way? I think sweatshirts that open in the front and pants that ride up are a bigger PITA. We send dd to daycare in sleepers occasionally - maybe 2-3 times per month. Meh.
I think it's a lot stranger to send your 14 month old to daycare in a giant tutu that she's tripping over. There's a little girl in dd's mdo class that does that sometimes and I find it very odd.
Sleepers all the way for right now. But, DD isn't mobile, and it's still colder more often than warm. Plus, we got a ton of sleepers for cheap, and not so many real clothes, so it's a bit of a financial thing too.

His seem a big snug like he can't stretch his legs.
I, too, am a bit baffled at how sleepers hinder mobility. Unless they are ill-fitting, I just don't see how they would have any effect on a baby's ability to crawl. Pants or shirts riding up seem far more annoying
I've always put the kids in outfits, even if they're just a onesie and fleece pants. It's just not my style to take them out or send them to school in sleepers. Their backup clothes at that age were sleepers, so there's a chance that they'd be in PJs by pick up time.
I generally don't like sleepers from 9m on because I prefer socks with better grippies on the bottom - both my kids were standing and pulling up at that age, and DS was walking at 9m.
Lololololol. My kids peed through her pants the other day and spent the afternoon in public in her diaper and shirt. Thank goodness the ergo limited judging.
I put both my kids in sleepers quite often. They like them, they're comfy and a dime a dozen We wear what we got around here.
Some of the thinner (non fleece ones) or even the fleece ones with a pattern don't strike me as all that pj-ish in the first place. DS is currently sporting a cotton one with frogs on it.

Well, my baby is at home all day but he is in a sleeper every day. Also 9 months old. We do tend to change him into "real" clothes when we go out, but definitely not always.

I like to save sleepers for overnight only but I wouldn't judge this. There are several parents who drop their babies off early so I figure they just have a time crunch, although I haven't noticed what the babies I see are wearing.
