Wheeeeeeee!!!! I don't think I could have handled another day after coming back from vacation. I am getting new tires on my car tomorrow, and maybe new struts? MIL is taking DD and me out for breakfast, it's going to be a good day!
It's my Friday too! Only 11 and a half hours stand between me and the weekend. Then home to do housework. I am really looking forward to tomorrow. We are going wine tasting with SIL and BIL and we always have fun when we are together. We are going to 7 wineries so lets see if they can handle it lol.
You all suck lol. It's Thursday and I have to drive on an ice rink to get to work. I want to know who is in charge of closing because they must not actually live in this city...
ETA: Made it to work fine. There's a layer of frozen slush and I'm hoping it melts fast. I'm so sick of this! My parents live an hour and a half away and only got rain.. Grr.
It is just my Thursday but I am happy that it is Thursday and not earlier in the week. This week has been pretty good except for yesterday when I had reflux and a bad headache. Today is much better though :-)
bricco- he needs to come soon! I want to meet him.
I have today off but I work tomorrow. We will then be going camping after work tomorrow! So bricco if you don't have the little one before I leave I won't get to meet him until Sunday night!!

Mine tooooooooo!
Lunch with an old friend tomorrow which is pretty exciting! I'm also debating on taking a zzquil at 5:45 when H gets up for work just to ensure I actually sleep in. I have a real issue with getting up and staying up at the crack of dawn on a day off and I really don't want to do that tomorrow!
bricco I also will be watching the game and Scandal! Go Hawks

It's my Friday too! I'm working from home today and had grand plans to get a lot of testing done...well, about 5 minutes in and the software appears to not be working Story of my life! Hoping to be able to figure it out via phone with the developer when he gets in (usually around 9).
I don't have any plans tomorrow but am hoping for a semi-productive day. I need to do laundry and at least clean something in the house (hopefully the kitchen and the downstairs bathroom, maybe vacuum too). I will most likely spend some time in our yard and prep for planting the tomatoes we bought last week. Yoga and going for a walk (or two or three) too!
bricco- I hope your little boy makes his appearance soon!
I just now decided that I am going to spend some of my half day at Target just walking around doing nothing. I have not done my easter basket shopping and I need stuff.
Thanks for asking! Monday! I will be 6 weeks exactly so not expecting to see much more than a blob (sac). I will be greatly surprised if we see a heartbeat.
Need your advice/suggestion...I have my first prenatal/OB appointment at the following week at 7 weeks (next week's appointment is with my RE) and then another one at 10 weeks. I insisted (with the nurse/scheduler) that I need to be seen between 7 and 10 weeks given my m/c history. I'm thinking my OB is going to be willing but am worried that she might just follow "protocol". Any thoughts/advice? I will be a nervous wreck if they make me wait those 3 weeks (we lost our first during that exact time frame).

How exciting! Is this the same OB that you had with your previous loses? When you go at 7 weeks I would just explain that you are extremely nervous and stressed about another loss given your history and that you wondered if you could be seen before 10 weeks. Hopefully if the OB has any heart at all that will not be a problem. This time I just said how stressed I was and my OB offered for me to come in. She has been amazing. I also went another time when I called and said my anxiety was getting the best of me and I wanted to know if I could have a HB check. No problem, come right on in.
Would it be possible for the RE to see you again before you go to the OB? Like maybe the RE can see you at 7 weeks, then you can go to the OB at 8 and 10?
I saw the RE at 6 and 8 weeks and then saw the OB at 12, 14, HB check at 15 and then I will see her again at 19w for the big u/s. It was the longest wait of my life between 8 and 12, but I had at least had two scans by then so I felt better.
Were you loses all unexplained or did the RE find anything?
Most doctors are understanding when you had a m/c in the past. Especially recurrent ones.
Did they prescribe or tell you take baby aspirin? The specialist I went to today (the person who did all my chromosome testing) told me start taking that asap. Also to continue to take it through the 2nd trimester.
luv2rn4fun I don't have any advice but I do plan on doing the same thing with my OB. I have had my losses around the same time and I want extra attention at those times.

zarapipe- Thank you for the advice! Yes, it's my same OB as both losses so I am really hoping that she is understanding. I do like your idea of seeing my RE for weeks 6 and 7 and OB 8 and 10. The RE had told me to schedule with OB for 7 and 9 which I thought was a great setup but the nurse said protocol is 7 and 10. I will let my RE know what is planned so far, address my concerns, and see what she suggests as well.
Yes, the RPL testing came back unexplained.
mrssandro- To address your question about baby aspirin...the only changes in my protocol this time around is baby aspirin daily and progesterone shots daily (yay! My fault though because I refuse to do the suppositories). I have been taking baby aspirin every day since Jan 3rd. When we did my betas and progesterone last week, my progesterone was at 46 which I believe is really good!
Both you ladies give me so much hope...seeing your stories unfold has really helped keep me calm (as much as possible) this past 1.5 weeks. Praying for both you and your little ones!

zarapipe- How far along were you at the 6 week appointment (early or later in the week, measurment wise or by CD calculation)? What did you end up seeing? Were you able to see a heartbeat?
I have tried doing the math on our last pregnancy...we had an u/s around 7 weeks (but were measuring a few days, maybe 5) behind. We saw the heartbeat. Monday is 6 weeks based on my ovulation calculation which I really do not think is off.

mrssandro and zarapipe- I really do think that there is something with baby aspirin. It's crazy to think that something so easy and simple could have prevented our losses. I am holding out so much hope that this is the magic piece (I did suppositories last time and my progesterone actually dropped...I really do think that pregnancy was really not "meant to be" compared to my first which seemed to be going textbook).
luv2rn4fun I have the worst memory ever but I know we saw a heartbeat the first u/s. I can't remember the exact measurements. When I get home I will look at the pics and see what they say. I think my appointment was at like 6.5 weeks or something, so a little further than yours will be.
I'm super passive aggressive today....like with everyone I'm having business dealings with. I know I need a nap, chocolate, something to calm my happy a** down....

Today is one of the best days!! A week of spring break starts in a hour, and I'm headed to happy hour to enjoy some delicious food right after. Tomorrow is my anatomy scan, and then we are having dinner with H's family on Friday night and my family on Easter to share our news
luv2rn4fun I would definitely insist on being seen between 7 and 10 weeks. I was seen every week until 8 weeks and it helped calm the anxiety a little.

Get some chocolate right away!
My coworker has Reese's miniatures and I stole 4.
We had an Easter egg hunt at work yesterday. There were "special" eggs (that was the main goal for big prizes) but the office was filled with normal eggs, all of which had candy in them. One of the benefits of being the first to the office is getting a lot of eggs (I did save quite a bit...I wasn't too stingy!). DH LOVES Reese's so I brought him home all the Reese's minis in my eggs and saved the rest of the chocolate for me (left it at work though so I don't eat it all at once)!
