I just got a call from H...he seems to have the stomach flu. I.do.not.want.this.
Currently sitting at work thinking of if I should sleep on the couch tonight or if I should pull the mattress from our guest bed to the living room (we keep the cat boxes in the guest room so sleeping there is not an option...don't ask). Mattress is sounding most appealing.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE send me all the anti-stomach flu dust you can.
Put on one of those medical masks for the next week! (I know there is a more basic term. It's the little white mask that goes over your mouth with a strap on the back. I clean with them sometimes!)

When I got the stomach flu two years ago I was able to keep H from getting it. I used one bathroom only and cleaned it thoroughly once I was better. H slept downstairs when I was sick. I think I will be implementing the same precautions this time as well.
I told H to only use one bathroom. I will have him change the sheets, wash the bedding, and clean the bathroom once he feels better tomorrow or Saturday. I tend to pick things up from H because I go all nurse on him and try to care for him...I can't help it. This time I am going to try to care for him from a distance.

I remember feeling so bad when I had the stomach flu because H wouldn't come near me. He made me feel like I was a lepper or something LOL....I am about to do the same thing. Do you think sleeping in another room is over-kill or justified? I love my bed but will sacrifice to avoid getting sick.

NOT overkill. You are pg.
Also guys don't think that way at all. At least my husband doesn't. He was fine sleeping on the couch when he had his bad cold (that I ended up getting) and he was so sweet about it.
