Madison is getting her bottom two front teeth, but I didn't even know she was teething. The only things she is doing differently is drinking a little less, and sleeping through the night. She's very happy, content, and normal otherwise. No extra poops, no low grade fever, nothing. I am fearful that once they pop through she will go back to getting up at 3 am to eat, lol. This means I am for a nasty surprise when she starts cutting molars, doesn't it?

He's a moody monster when his teeth are coming in, but once they cut through, he's back to normal. He also cringes when he eats or refuses harder foods.

Chewing fingers, drooling nonstop, waking up way too much again after months of sleeping through the night. Diarrhea from all of the drooling I assumed.
He bit me and drew blood. He didn't actively teeth excepting his 2 year molars which came in all at once when he was 11 months old. His appetite was "off" and was pulling his ears.
But really - the drool. So much drooled and chewing on anything they could get into their mouths. I was terrified of molars because all I had ever heard was how horrible it was, but it wasn't any worse than any of the others.

Slight fever, drool, and overall just one pissed off baby. Sometimes they would tug at their ear, so we'd haul then in to urgent care only to be told nope no ear infection, just their teeth popping through.

Both my girls starting yelling more- if that makes sense. Kind of angry screams. DD2 can only be consoled with a lot of extra cuddle time. Along with all of the usual symptoms.
Hmm. The sleep issues people are mentioning are making me wonder if DD is cutting her first teeth. She has been waking up at night after only 3 hours of sleep (she usually sleeps at least 8 hours).
How long does this last before the teeth come through?

Interrupted sleep, rashes, and the poop. P Oh the poop. Teething poo has its own special odor, too. Thank goodness we're working on our last few teeth.

When she screams while refusing to eat and is obviously hungry. That was this morning, poor thing. Had to give her some orajel so she could eat. She is grouchy, clingy, with red cheeks and a runny nose.

Consider yourself lucky of she isn't showing any signs of pain and they just pop through. My kids are asshole teethers. The don't sleep, they are clingy, cranky, and throw way more tantrums than normal. They also tend to run a low fever or get a runny nose. Oh, and their cheeks get flushed sometimes. Teething is a nightmare in this house.

I agree with everybody else. Teething Andrew is a drooly, smelly asshole. His diapers were gross, everything was soggy, and he was a jerk. But when a tooth popped through, it was like a ray of sunshine! Instant happy kid!
