What part of the TC are you in? And are you for or against the new vikings stadium? What is your favorite local beer?
I am in the Southwest part. I am for the new stadium, but I've never been to a Vikings game before I think it will boost the area. I'm not huge into beer. I like leinenkugel and have toured there. I know it's not from MN though.

The "southwest" part, eh? And you think the area of the new stadium needs a boost? Not into BEER? Hmmmmmmmm.

I like a cold beer occasionally on a warm summers day, or while at the cabin. But it's not my drink of choice.
I'm in MN, too. Please do a fill in the blank for me:
Summit _____ ______ ______
Rolling ______
Sven ___________
Name a running joke about the State Fair:
Paul _____ left his station to go to _____ __________
A casserole is called a ______ ________
Name 3 really, REALLY, REALLY common Nordic last names here:
I only know like 2 of these. Maybe three. I fail at Minnesota.
Well, I didn't want to give her too much info so I had to be vague. The timing is really, really bad.
Uff da. <-- hey, newly delurked, if you're from MN, what does this mean and how is it used?
ETA: Also, melindafelinda, after she wrote this "Yeah, but after reading that monster thread I thought I might want to chime in a little, maybe? I don't know. I thought the Jim/l&l/vaba thing was dying down since I didn't really think she was going to show up." at what I think is pretty much the same time as Elle's deadline to have an AMA??? Anyone who had lurked here for months and read the monster thread and offshoot threads would know NOT to start an AMA at the same time as the deadline time. Unless we're dealing with someone who is innocent here but super, super clueless.
I didn't say I didn't like beer, it's just not my fave. I drank it often but hen one time I had a bad experience. What's it called when you like pierce a beer can and then have touring it down real fast? I did that and ever since I haven't been able to drink it often.
I'm in MN, too. Please do a fill in the blank for me:
Summit Extra Pale Ale (local beer)
Rolling Rock (beer I thought was local but checked the website to make sure -- total fail! It's from St. Louis!!) (I don't drink beer but my husband does. I failed my own quiz!)
Sven Sundgaard (local TV weather guy)
Name a running joke about the State Fair: everything is on a stick here -- bratwurst on a stick, alligator on a stick, fried Snickers bar on a stick, or also would have accepted anything battered and deep fried
Paul Magers left his station to go to Los Angeles (TV anchorman who is/was being groomed to be the next Tom Brokaw-type by moving him to LA to the bigger market share) losangeles.cbslocal.com/personality/paul-magers/
A casserole is called a hot dish (acceptable as one word or two)
Name 3 really, REALLY, REALLY common Nordic last names here: Anderson, Olson, Johnson...almost anything that ends in -son there are probably a lot of them around here
Also....hi! I also don't get the MOA hate. I like it there from time to time...I also have a shopping problem, so there's that.
I've got a serious shopping problem. I just need one mall that has all of my favorites in it and I'll be set. I take my nephew to Camp Snoopy ( I'm sorry but it will always be camp snoopy to me) and he loves it.
