I just scroll down the page to find the exact location I need. There are separate boards for hotwire and priceline for most locations.
Thank you
I assume just read through the posts and you'll get an understanding of which hotels are in Priceline or Hotwire based on location and star rating you select?
I do that. They also have a post at the top of each destination forum that lists all of the hotels and amenities and the star ratings for each hotel but sometimes it isn't very up to date. If you are looking at a particular place on hotwire and after browsing through you don't see one that matches your amenities, you should post and see if anyone responds with their guess.
I used to use betterbidding all the time but I'm finding there aren't as many posts lately so it's not as helpful as it once was. Now that hotwire usually gives the tripadvisor rating and amount of reviews I can usually use tripadvisor to figure it out.
If you are looking for a hotel in a popular destination check the "calendar of wins" options on the top of the screen. This will show you what resorts/hotels people have won in your destination for the particular dates you are looking to travel. I use it when we book staycations in Vegas to see what I should be bidding on my room based on what others report as their winning bids.

Hotwire you can sometimes narrow down the hotel with the TripAdvisor review rating shown in addition to the better bidding listings. DH will still book Hotwire if he isn't 90% sure he knows what hotel it is if it is in the correct location and at least 4 on TripAdvisor.
