Emmy loves being outside and that will offer a challenge this summer with a newborn. So, I'm looking at purchasing a sun shade/tent to place Luke in that can also serve as a private area for me to nurse him in while outside or at the beach.
I've been looking at the options online and there are so many. Do I want one with a bottom to prevent sand from getting in or do I want one without a bottom so that when Luke is a bit older, he can play in the sand without being in the sun?
How essential are the windows and sides that open? I imagine it will get warm in there and I want decent airflow for us.
I know I need one big enough to fit an adult (for nursing) and one that is easy to set up and take down.
So, do you have any you recommend? Right now, these are my top three choices but I am open to more options:
Emerson Kate, born 38w5d on 4/6/12 at 6:02 p.m., 5 lbs 13 oz and 18 3/4 inches. Lucas Matthew, born 39w5d on 4/11/14 at 8:20 a.m., 7 lbs 4 oz and 20 inches.
I second the sportbrella! Everyone here had recommended it and we are so happy with it. We put down a large towel for Joshua to sleep on, then pulled it up for him to play.

I think you're better off with an umbrella (people like the sportbrella!) because I've only ever seen tent things like that blowing down the beach and frantic parents chasing after them.

Thanks ya'll. The sportbrella it is! Does the normal size work or should I get the XL one? Keep in mind we are done after two kids; however, I will often be outside with friends and their kids. I'd like it to fit 4-6 people comfortably.

Ok another question- the white XL one is cheaper than the regular sized one and about $20 cheaper than the blue or red XL one. Is white a really terrible choice?
