Under the Dome by Stephen King. It started off great but I think I'm in the middle now and it's slowed a bit but it's still good.
Sycamore Row by John Grisham - I just started it last night so I'm only a few pages in. Seems good but some reviews I read said it was dull. Grisham's last few books have been pretty dull.
Dark Places by Gillian Flynn - I am on page one. Have no opinion yet.
I just finished the Divergent series. I'm disappointed, as was expected... but not necessarily for the same reasons as others had predicted. I started becoming irritated in Book 2.
Now I've started Born to Run, which is awesome and intriguing so far. I needed a change from YA.
An Abundance of Katherines. I needed something fast and light to read and this certainly fits the bill. I'm not quite sure if I actually like it, however.
I was annoyed with my last book club read, so I went with easy. The Third Rule of Ten, by Gay Hendricks & Tinker Lindsay, (obviously) the third in the series. Quick, detective story, and just fun to read.

I haven't been reading much this month (so I haven't been on this board much) because I'm taking a photography class. Most of my reading has been either trashy romances or photography articles, and at least twice a week, I'm out taking photos.

Well, now I'm curious: what was the annoying book?

I just recently finished both The Returned by Jason Mott and The Book of Someday by Dianne Dixon. I really liked both of them. I think about them both even after finishing them and starting another.
I am just about done with Freakonomics. It's really interesting, but I don't know that I've learned anything I can actually use.
ETA: I'm still working my way through the credit I got from B&N from their lawsuit settlement. I ended up with about $76.00. Did anyone else get anything from either B&N or Amazon?

Pride & Prejudice. I know it is a classic, but I just did not enjoy it. I love my IRL book club, but more often than not I barely enjoy our book choices. I stick with it because I enjoy the people in the group and like the push to read outside my "comfort zone".
I just finished Tell the Wolves I'm Home. Highly recommended. I read it during my train commute over the past week and had to stop reading numerous times because I got too emotional. And I'm not usually one for books that garner that kind of a response (I'm more likely to read Stephen King). Anyway, it was very good.
