You look awesome in that first pic!! No WTF necessary
As for the second pic, I hope you know you don't have to post pics of your treatment to convince us that you are real and you actually have cancer. ;-) We know you are the real deal. and we are all so impressed with your positive attitude---that mask thing looks scary!
Thanks guys. I need to take up boxing or something. Lol.
And since I'm over sharing, dh took this while they were setting everything up yesterday.
That mask is hard and screwed to the table. So...I'm essentially muzzled in place?!
I was so unprepared for the level of sci fi-ness here.
I'm really sorry they didn't tell you explicitly what to expect, because that is definitely a unique and unsettling experience! My gpa thought his molds were pretty much the coolest thing once he had them, though.

My BIL just had a lymphoma scare (biopsy came back benign but he has a wicked huge lump to have removed). The family was all in a panic but I was like - Naw - He'll be fine. If little Stella's can kick cancer's ass so can BIL who is a giant tattoo'd beast.
Now that I see your picture, there's no way that cancer has a chance.
Can say how lucky you are you didn't get a port? While I like that it keeps me from getting stuck in the arm 50 million times, I look like part alien.
How many doses of chemo are you getting?
I probably should have just gotten it. I'm so fucking tired of IVs.
Just had my first one tues, then 3 more before another PET scan. Another 4-8 after that. Radiation is still questionable since one clump is behind my left breast and they don't want to give me breast cancer in the future.
My heart hurts for you that you have to deal with any of this...but I also want to echo that you look fucking awesome. I think even when you're cancer-free, you should stick with the short hair and bikini top as your daily OOTD I would if I had that bod!
Looking good! How long to the sessions for radiation treatments take?
My dad had a mask like that and one of those Clockwork Orange things to hold his eye open when he got radiation for his ocular melanoma (they shot him in the eye with a laser for 15s). He made the nurse take a picture of him to show us.
