We are having Easter dinner at my ILs today instead of Sunday for reasons that are too long to explain.

I'm a black cloud of doom. I am looking forward to my parents coming down to visit because I have been home with a sick toddler for 2 days and I'm kind of done and need some back-up.

Also, we're planning on meeting my mom tonight so I can switch my phone from her plan to J's, and I'm hoping I can get a new phone. I'm using an old Samsung Galaxy S after dropping my Razr Maxx in the toilet, and the Samsung is dying a slow, painful death.

In 44 minutes I'm taking myself out to lunch.

Tomorrow when I wake up I'll be at my mom and dads. And my WHOLE FAMILY (mom, dad, brother, SIL, H and andy) will all be under one roof. Eating my dad's pancakes, drinking coffee, and acting stupid together. I am so excited.

H is off work today. We're getting some work done around the house, then heading out for lunch in a bit.

1. Spring break starts at noon today...
2. But I have a giant stack of things to grade so I'm staying until it's done (this is a good thing, though, because then it won't be hanging over my head).
3. My new cargo bike (aka "the family truckster") will be ready soon. I can haul both kids, snacks, sand toys, and DS1's bike.
4. My students have been competing with me to see who can get to 2048 first. I can't wait to show them-- when they get here in 10 minutes-- my screen from last night. I won!

I mean, those are both a given, as far as what I'm excited for.

Today is a student/teacher holiday. After today, our backyard will have grass (and not be a dust bowl any more). It's kind of gray and drizzly, so I'm really excited for snuggling in bed with W, who is also home, watching a movie, and taking a nap.
