How long after did you feel "normal" again? I've had stomach pain every time I eat. It's definitely better but still putting a damper on things. The endoscopy was yesterday and they did say to expect some stomach pain until the air worked it's way out, I guess I just thought it'd be gone by now.
It could be gas trapped in there. I'm sure air got in while they were doing it. That was the worst part of having my gallbladder out. I had terrible gas pains in my shoulders
Yeah I think it's just trapped air. But I have no idea to get it out! It doesn't feel like regular gas pains. I'm just trying to drink a lot of water and eat smaller meals til it's gone.
I'd take some gas-x, and maybe ginger ale? Ginger ale always helps settle my stomach while the fizzies help force me to burp. Burping is my best friend right now. I will feel SO disgusting, unable to eat, etc etc, and then a really epic burp and I am back to normal for a while. This is pg-related and not procedural, but sharing in case it might help you too.

I didn't have any pain after, but like everyone said, it's probably gas. In addition to the advice already given, try to be active. When I worked in the hospital we always encouraged the patients to walk when they had post-op gas pains.
I had no pain/discomfort at all, but perhaps its that i never had stomach issues. When i had mine it was precautionary for my daily vomiting, but it turns out it was from vertigo, no stomach issues.

I've had them a few times. Only once was gas an issue but I burped it up when I ate. It was uncontrollable.
I'd try gasx, steady walking, and laying on the left side (for some reason it makes an easier path for gas to escape). I've even laid on my stomach with a belly under my belly, and my butt in the air. It helped squish some air out. A heating pad on the belly sometimes helps, or a warm bath.
You know what is funny about this is last night when I was having the worst pain and lots of stomach issues laying on my left side made it worse. But only in the way that every time I layer on that side it revved things back up. But that makes sense because it was probably the result of that that easier path.
