I may be starting this thread to AW...C is currently sleepng and had been for over SEVEN HOURS! This is awesome but I hope she wakes up soon or my boobs may explode.
We are at my parents' this weekend and our Easter dinner this evening with just my grandparents has turned into a meet the baby party with all my aunts/uncles. I'm excited!

I just decided to host easter brunch at my house on Sunday earlier this week. I have to do shopping and prep today. Next year I will plan more in advance. On the plus side my SIL isn't coming so I can do breakfast food (she just doesn't like eggs or any non carb breakfast food) which is so much easier due to many different food allergies in my family.
Poor dh us running a 5k this morning. Ds and I were going to go watch but decided not to given the weather combined with trying to stand in one spot with a toddler.
It's gross here too (although no snow...yuck!) I think I am going to put my "long" run off until tomorrow. Today seems like a good day to snuggle and watch tv.
I am really hoping for a baby this weekend or on Marathon Monday! Hear that, Baby?
Also, in the spirit of milking pregnancy for all it’s worth, I declined a visit to see in-laws today. Happily sent DH, but I know I’ll see them as soon as she’s born and thought of going this morning was exhausting, so I opted to sleep in. Actually, maybe that’s a confession, not a random.
Now, I’m writing to Amazon, because I realized one of my big shipments was missing the baby nail scissors I ordered. And I’m going to eat an epic breakfast.
Sorry to those with snow! It’s actually sunny here, and we had snow earlier in the week. Enough!
I was able to sleep from about 1030-215 and then 3-6 last night. That's right folks, that means BOTH babies slept those stretches! I feel fantastic!!
I need to bake for J's breakfasts this weekend. I always bake various vegan breads etc.to have in the freezer.for his breakfasts and I currently have NOTHING. My plans to bake before the babies were born were squashed by the ptl.
Dd is still clear of HF&M. She was first exposed last friday, and others were getting it all week. What do you think are the chances of her still getting it? Would you take her to an easter eggs hunt?
Spending the day baby free with my best friend for her birthday! Getting coffee at a place owned by Hugh Jackman, then dress shopping for her wedding, then brunch, then off to her (surprise!) party hosted by her fiance. I'm excited to get out!

I love when Saturday morning rolls around and my son utterly ignores me in favor of Dada. He wouldn't even let me get him out if his crib this morning but started trying to crawl over the side when he caught sight of DH. It's pretty hilarious, I should take the opportunity to go get a pedicure or something!
DS learned to say "hug" this week. He walks up to you with his arms wide open and says "hug? Hug?" I don't even care if he's trying to manipulate me, it's the cutest thing ever!
DS learned how to say bubble (bub-bah). It's the cutest thing ever. He's super into bubbles. He runs around popping them and one of our cats helps. It's so adorable.

Do you have a favorite recipe to share? You know, with all your free time.

It's gorgeous weather here. BOTH girls are napping!!! Me and dh are lying out in the garden reading our books in peace, with an icecream. :-)
Dd1 was in rotten form this morning, saying she was still tired. Dh woke her at 8.30 this morning (bed at 7.45 last night). She hasn't napped in the afternoon in a long time. Once in the last 6 mths maybe? And not in the previous 5/6mths...

Bubble is one of DS favorite words too. We say "Bubble....bubble" while opening our arms. Then when he claps we say "Pop!" Cracks him up every time.

Today was my morning to get up with DS but DH offered to do it instead. I couldn't fall back asleep after they got up but I got to be lazy! It is now 10am and I guess it is time to join the land of the living.
I am having an epic, frightening period. Like, overflowing the DC every 3-4 hours. What the hell, body.
That happened to me once, it was SCARY. I called my mom (a nurse) all in a panic. She said to go to Urgent Care if I had any clots bigger than a golf ball (holy crap). I didn't. It hasn't happened again. I don't know what the hell happened.
Morning choir rehearsal with the instruments. We are due back for Easter Vigil at 10:30pm. I don't think I've stayed up that late this year.
My godparents sent V an Easter care package. Daycare gave him some plastic eggs. This is all way more than we're doing for him. parents of the year!
With three or four vag threads going, I feel like I ought to say, I know we're close and all, but I generally skip the really lady-specific TMI stuff. So if that was in the back of anyone's mind, fear not, KOKO.
So far today I went into work to see three kids on two inpatient floors, went to the bank, started picking up a winter's worth of dog poop in the backyard, had lunch, put AJ down for a nap, finished picking up dog poop, gathered up the millions of miscellaneous sticks in the yard, raked all the leaves and dead grass that had accumulated along the fence, got half of them stuffed into one of our lawn clipping cans (can't find the lawn bags so the rest can wait 'til tomorrow), and dug up roughly a quarter of the dandelions in the front yard before I got tired and said fuck this. Now I'm watching SVU and GBCNing while I let my brand new blister air out, and am hoping to veg for at least another half an hour before I get ready to go out to dinner and take AJ over to my parents.
Oh, and my kid had a blast at swim lessons with my dad today (my parents took him because both J and I had to work...not that J would have gone if he was off because he has a complex about his chest hair). And the weather's beautiful. Wheeee!
DD STTN last night (3rd time in her whole life, not that I'm counting)! She woke up at 7 because DH was making noise, and STAYED in her crib playing by herself for an hour. Best present ever!

A town out by us has a helicopter drop 20,000 eggs for the kids to run around and find. We'll be doing that with SD's and DD this afternoon. I can't wait to see just how insane this whole thing is.
We have visitors this weekend and I am exhausted from entertaining. I feel like I'm constantly prepping food or cleaning up from a meal. Right now everyone else is out at the pool and I'm home with DD while she naps. I have a million things I could be doing, and instead am watching bad TV and GBCNing.

Confession: DD has pretty much only eaten chips (fries) for the last 3 out of four meals. I am beyond caring; we're on vacation and we are all eating like crap.
