What is a city license? I am surprised at the dog park tag too. What do they need to have on the DP tag?
Ours only have their name tag w/ address and their rabies tag. They aren't even required to have those, but I don't want them quarantined if they get out and bite somebody.
Sadie's collar has her name tag, an I AM DEAF tag, and her rabies tag, but she doesn't wear her collar when she's at home. I think it might be a city requirement here for them to have their rabies tag on them, but I'm not entirely sure.

All dogs in our city have to be licensed. In theory, if your dog gets loose and is picked up by law enforcement the dog will be returned immediately instead of being taken to animal control.
The money goes towards maintaining the dog parks and the city animal shelter.

Our dog has her ID tag, rabies tag, microchip tag, and city license on hers. She only wears it when we take her places though. The sound of the tags clanging together drives me nuts.
It's on one of his collars. When we're out in public, I try to put that collar on him just in case. He doesn't wear a collar at home since we have a fenced in backyard.
One dog did but the ring broke and I haven't replaced it. He wore the rabies tag and his name/phone tag. Other dog doesn't wear her collar, she's a wrinkly bulldog and she needs to stretch her shit out. We use a harness when we walk her.
I also have a question. For microchips, is there a way to put your info on there without having to pay a yearly subscription?
I am thinking of getting my girls microchipped, but just wondered if there was a way to put your info on the chip permanently instead of yearly.
If it is the HomeAgain yearly fee you are talking about that is for their spam the vets/groomers/their email list with your missing pet poster if your pet goes missing service. You can still update the database info for the chip without renewing the alert service. 24 hour pet watch has free info updating for I think the first two years. After that you pay a small fee to update it. Only if you need to update it. The info for both stays in the database without a yearly fee
Mine has her name tag, rabies tag, lifetime license tag, and home again chip number tag on her collar. She has a second collar with her Tagg GPS on it. As her main collar is too wide for the clip. Her main collar is on unless she is in her crate. Tagg is always on if we are leaving the house/yard or going anywhere away from me. She wears it all the time if we are out if town. Most of the time if she is out in the yard as it also measures her activity level.
If she doesn't have the tag jingle she is too quiet and sneaks up and spooks me.
No bc she shakes her collar all night long and it keeps me up.
She actually went into anaphylactic shock the last time she got a rabies vaccine and almost died. I really don't know what to do next time she's up for one. It was fucking scary as shit. My eye twitched for 3 months after.
That is scary. Glad your pup pulled through.
Will your state allow titers to show immunity? - maybe a different manufacturer/(eta link) vax type page 10 www.cdc.gov/mmwr/pdf/rr/rr6006.pdf I also can't remember which vax it was that my vet said changed manufactures and adjuvants recently (last 3 years) he was have a lot of reactions to it.
The puppy wears a rabies, microchip, and ID tag. So 3. We leave it on during the day so I can hear where she is and what trouble she is up to. I take it off at night.
Just his collar with the boomerang tags that slide on. The rabies tag is not proof they have had their rabies vaccine so it stays taped to his rabies certificate and in his file. He is so severely special needs no one would ever be able to catch him anyways. He is microchiped and licensed with the city but that tag is also not on him. The city has his chip # registered so they have his license number.
