What cute thing did your kids do today?

In the middle of dinner this evening, dd1 (3) got off her chair just to give me a hug. And then got right back on her chair and finished her dinner.

Dd2 is just the funniest to watch with food. She spent a good 10 minutes trying to get a pea in her mouth today from her highchair table. Into the hand, up to the face, miss the mouth, falls on the table and repeat several times!

We say "bouncy bouncy bouncy" when he's standing and holding the edge of the couch, and he'll start bouncing.

DS put a little ambulance inside his dinosaur slipper, and pushed it all over DH saying "wahh ohhh wahh ohh RAWR!"

We dyed Easter Eggs this afternoon and he took it so seriously! All of the eggs are kind of brownish because he just kept moving them all from cup to cup until they were dipped in all five colors.

Along @hannymaren's kissing theme, DS is very insistent on WHERE he wants to give a kiss. He'll point at my nose, cheek, or mouth and say "mwah mwah" and when I produce said body part he kisses it. Nose is his current favorite.

He had fits of giggles any time he started crawling somewhere and I said "Mama's gonna get you!" So cute.

We found DD2 laying down in her brother's crib with the mobile turned on.

Dd1 wanted to open some candy from a birthday and I told her she couldn't. She asked if she could eat it tomorrow. I said maybe. I looked in the back seat and she's slowly pulling it open. She sees me looking and insists that she's "just getting it started for tomorrow."

Dd2 makes the "mu-ah" sound while giving kisses.

AJ actually picked up a puff and tried to put it in his mouth! For my decidedly anti-feeding himself child, this is a big deal.

He also busted out with giggles whenever I fake sneezed

It was really cute when she was screaming in the grocery store because I wouldn't let her walk, and continued to scream the entire drive home.

J now calls me mommy instead of mama.
He also likes to hide and have us find him. But, he tells us "more hiding" each time and goes in the same place. Then when he is there we say, where is j is he xyz referring to a different spot. J can't help but quietly respond " nope" lol. I don't think he gets how it works.

I was taking video of M this morning, and as soon as he noticed he looked at me and said "Mama!" and leaned it and grabbed the phone from me. I got it on camera, so cute.

DD learn the word night-night and when she says it, she puts her arm out and lays her head on it.

Wore bunny ears for hours, including while we carried him around the store. It was so cute!

We had a mommy/daughter date in Manhattan- lunch, children's theater and a playground.

DD gave H a hug this morning (meaning she put her chest to his and her head on his shoulder). It was the most adorable thing.

And lying in bed this morning, she showered me with slobbery kisses (meaning she opened her mouth and slobbered on both cheeks and nose).

DS1 and I were talking about state nicknames in the car yesterday. I said TX is nicknamed the Lone Star State, and DS1 said "I would have gone with Bill."

We caught DS2 sitting in the middle of my mom's living room with a big pile of chocolate eggs (from a bowl on my mom's counter). My step-dad asked him who gave him all those eggs, and he responded "I gave them to myself. For an Easter present."

DS3 turned one today, and everything he does is cute.

His face totally lit up when he saw all the eggs in the yard today. He was so excited. This morning he woke up & said " Let's go check out those eggs & candy! "

Not today, but appropriate: I told DD we were going to dye eggs and she said "That would be so much sad."

I had to explain we were not about to kill the eggs, just color them.

In the middle of a very quiet moment at church yelled halleluiah! Pretty much the entire church burst out laughing.
