Oh that's tough. It sounds like it could be for attention but you have to take that kind of stuff seriously. How many other people saw that post? Any chance anyone else is also trying to help. Can you and the aunt contact the school guidance counselor? I had to do that when in high school for a good friend - my friend actually thanked me later.
