I have been busting my ASS every night after work until midnight, trying to get that stupid IKEA 80" pantry assembled before our fridge arrived today, and apparently doing everything wrong I could possibly do. I finally got it put together this morning and a.) something is just a little off, because you have to lift and jiggle to get the pull-out to slide back in and b.) we can't anchor it to the wall as planned because apparently a heating duct goes right behind there. We finally gave up and just put it in the garage until the rest of our reno gets done, whenever that will be. Then on top of that, it turns out our fridge arrived damaged, so they didn't deliver it after all. Plus, now I have to take a day off of work to wait for the delivery, because I have plans for the next few Saturdays.
On the bright side, we did get our new stove. It is very cool -- I love the double ovens and the blue inside, and it heats up so quickly in comparison to the 20 minutes our old oven took to get to 350.
Finally, remember the two frames I got from Home Goods, and then when the prints I ordered arrived I realized one of them was shattered under the cardboard? I went back to Home Goods and was so excited to see one more...and then it was broken too. But it was just cracked, not shattered, so I brought it home and superglued it, and hopefully it won't get knocked at some point. Yay for at least ONE DIY success!
ugh, sorry things aren't going better for you. I just bought that 80" pantry and hearing your struggles is not making me look forward to assembly. I also was planning to start with that one and the fridge. Maybe I should start with some of the other cabinets first.

Im sorry! I had both the exact same issues with the ikea cabinet assembling. The drawer thing still baffles me. Sometimes I would get it in the first try and others is just have to wait and try again. I never figured our the trick.
I'm sorry about your refrigerator! I hate that. Your stove sounds awesome!
What are the problems you're having? Maybe I could help? I assembled all our cabinets (but didn't have anything to do with hanging them). We just have a regular 80 inch pantry but no pull outs in it. We have pull outs elsewhere though.
There were a few times during the process I got so frustrated! One thing I was convinced we were doing wrong even though it looked right in the directions. Some of the cabinets the right side essentially faces the wrong direction. You don't end up seeing it so it doesn't matter but it makes the assembly feel weird.
That sounds so frustrating. I put together a couple of their cabinets today and though with great pity about what it must be like to put together an entire kitchen

Thanks. Honestly, I think at this point I'll just wait for the contractor to sort it out. It's going to need to be anchored with the rest of the upper cabs (the over-the refrigerator cabinet, etc) in the studs before we can use it anyway. Hopefully whatever I did to make the pantry not pull-out / push-in smoothly will be fixable. :-(
