Does codeine make anyone else itchy?

I just took some for pain but now I feel like I need to roll around in sand paper. I don't see a rash. I'm wondering if Im allergic to it.

Vicodin makes me itchy.

Not codeine, but percocet and some allergy meds (of all things) will make me feel that way.

I can't take Benedryl. It make me feel like I'm goi h to have a heart attack. The other pain meds they gave me made me sick. It was called Narco.

Maybe I just can't take pain killers.

It makes me itch. My Dr writes it as an "allergy with itch" meaning I'm not really allergic but it makes me itchy so I prefer something else if possible.

The only one that works for me is darvocet and the FDA took that away. Haha
vicodin makes me puke and does nothing to relieve pain. 
Im super allergic to codeine though. Had it for dental work a couple years ago and ended up being rushed to the ER for the reaction

Yes! I was on all kinds of narcotics after my wreck and had to take iv benadryl while in the hospital to keep from scratching myself to death.

I can only take narcotics if I take Phenergan as well. It is an amazing antiemetic drug AND an antihistamine, so it works well for all angles. Narcotics do make me very itchy (especially my face) and I always feel like I look like a druggy when I am furiously rubbing/scratching my nose.

Thank God I'm not the only one. Everyone raves about how great it is and I get the dry heaves just thinking about it.
