Hi, I don't post here much but I'm trying to decorate our new house and could use some help! I put together an Olioboard for the living room and would love some opinions. Some of the items shown aren't exactly what I own, but extremely similar.
Things I already own are the rug (which doesn't HAVE to stay in this room), the piano, dresser, wall clock, blue lamps. The sofa, chairs and coffee tables are on order from Ethan Allen.
The walls are currently two-tone blue and gray, which feels very cold to me. I want to go for something warmer and I was thinking a neutral tan/gold. I really want to bring out the red tones in the rug, hence the red geometric curtains. Multi-color pillows will be needed to tie together the blue chairs with the green couch.
I want a colorful, eclectic room but want to make sure everything clearly works together.

I would consider doing panels on the door as well to balance it visually. Roman shades might be more ideal. The coat rack seems a bit ornate with the furnishing, but overall it's all very nice together.

Thanks! I hadn't considered panels on the door- that is a good suggestion. I agree the coat rack is too ornate. I'm on a search for one that is a little less fussy.

I wouldn't mind the rack as much if it were a different finish. The other metal objects in the room (mirror, floor lamp) are lighter finish and I think that's got me caught up. However, the rug is pretty intricate so I don't mind how ornate it is.
I like all of it together except the coffee tables. Are they white marbled tops or is that due to photoshopping? If they're glass top, they could maybe work, but I would look for something a little warmer.
The tops are an antique mirror finish and the metal is a champagne finish. I already ordered them, so I'm hoping they work, but worst case scenario I'll just put them in the family room instead.
