What do I need for my hair dryer and curling iron? From what I've read this sounds like it's going to be a pain. I'm considering just buying a cheap hair dryer when I get there but I don't want to also buy a curling iron. I could do without if I have to and just have really flat hair.
Not all of the places we are staying will provide a hair dryer IIRC.
That looks right to me. I'd check with the Travel board just in case. Sometimes, your hotel may have adapters to borrow, too.
We stayed at budget-y places in Italy, btw, and I'm pretty sure a hair dryer came with the rooms. Hair dryers suck up a lot of energy, so you may blow the adapter. I'd also embrace the ponytail or any other low-maintenance hair style while you're traveling.

I have definitely thought about doing lots of ponytails. Sigh.
