Hugs Kkfeb. I have gym bucks if you need some retail therapy soon?
You are trying to get me in trouble aren't you?
I'm good, I have $50 to use and I don't know what to get. The kids are going to respite night on Friday so I have 2.5 hours to slowly wander around the malls without kids and husband.
There's just a lot going on. Besides all of the therapies for both kids, I get to have a BHRS/FBA and whatever other initials the guy has with me 3 hours a week to set up a treatment plan for Kalvin. I know he's here to help and I try not to take his recommendations as a "you suck" but yeah. We also get to have Katelyn's evaluation in mid June. H thinks she's fine, the Pedi and Kalvin's psych are highly recommending her to get it just because she's a sibling with speech delay and sensory seeking.
That's a lot to deal with. Hopefully all of the evals will be over soon. You're doing a wonderful job with your kiddos, even if you don't see it. Let me know if I can do anything at all.
I hope your along time on Friday can help you feel a bit refreshed.
Can I ask, what does 'sensory seeking' mean?
She constantly has to move, climb, kick, if something is on the ground, she must stand on it. She's constantly seeking out behaviors to fulfill her needs.
She's movement seeking and probably proprioceptive thrown in there. He's tactile, propioceptive and auditory. He flips out at loud noises, he doesn't like to touch certain things, clothing sets him into a tantrum, they both just constantly want to hang upside down, and so much more.
